I'm looking for cost comparison information about switching to electronic cigarettes. I realize that everyone is different, as well as differences in equipment, but it seems like there should be a guideline to help people decide to make the switch.
The following is rough guidelines based on a 1-pack-a-day smoker using a dse901.
What I have figured out so far is:
- the $10 vaporizer should be replaced monthly
- the cartridge should be refilled after 7 cigarettes worth of smoking
- cartridges need to be cleaned or replaced every week or so
- it takes just under 1ml ejuice to refill a cartridge
- cheap ejuice costs about $0.50/ml
So far, it will cost me about $55/month, plus whatever kits I decided to buy and try.
I still can't find:
- how often the $15 battery should be replaced
- what other expenses will be encountered
Again, I realize everyone is different. You may be able to make your vaporizer last 6 months ... and I hope that I will too. What I'm looking for is realistic guidelines for cost comparison on making the switch.
