| Ok, getting a little overwhelmed here. I just recently started dental assisting school and currently have one instructor that is highly allergic to cigarette smoke and I know that when it is time for us to do our clinicals that the odor would be a big draw back as well. Thus the interest in trying ecigs. Over the last few days, I have looked at soooooooooo many sites and soooooooo much information I am totally lost and really want to scream. We have order a couple of trial versions (Prada and directecig.com) and needless to say we will look at the fine print when they arrive!! If it looks like extra charges will come they will get shipped right back....without me even trying them. I currently smoke Misty Silver and Capri Jade (yeah, two brands...one is cheaper than the other and there is a size difference as well). I am concerned, though, that the lower cost "free trial" versions will not perform as well as some of the regular models and that will turn me off of it completely. I am lost as to the battery/atomizer ratio. I know that they effect vapor production. I do want a good easy pull with the solid feeling of the smoke (vapor) hitting my throat. Cartridges are a complete loss to me and what is with this "e-juice". Do I have to mix this myself or can I buy it premixed. On the hardware side of the models, what model parts interchange with other model/brands parts? Now you can see my confusion. I am hoping and praying that there will be somebody here who can help me out with getting all of this straight without them having their bottom line (profits) in mind.
I will also add that being in school and taking 24 credit hours this semester, well, in hunting all over the web this weekend has really cut into study time. Help being told the best affordable (yes, unemployed, so money is a serious consideration) model with the best affordable battery and atomizer would be greatly appreciated. I will have time around the holidays to look at videos and gain more knowledge and will certainly do so.
Thanks |

| Ouch,
Trial Offers? They always seem to pop right up in a search.
Step one, read the fine print. Some give you so many days to try it FROM THE TIME YOU ORDERED, the clock is running already. Then you get the full price charged, then your first batch of cartridges are mailed, and charged. Maybe the one you ordered from is different.
The good thing is, they usually work OK.
Go read this thread: How not to get ripped off
Go shop at a couple of supplies that sell 'pre-mixed' e-juice.
You can refill a cartridge or cartomizer for less than 25 cents and they will last quite a few refills.

| Ok, your on information overload, I get the picture.
Rule #1 just start vapeing and stopping over analyzing lol
Rule #1A dont buy them at a mall kiosk. You will be ripped off there.
The 501's are real popular but there are plenty of others that work just fine too.
Temp ones are not going to cut it especially if your jumping ship on the analogues (regular smokes) the batteries are crappy even if you can recharge them
The possibilities for liquid go on and on. You may have to try a few or mix some before you settle into what you like.
As far as worrying over the cost, just think about what your paying per pack now,
then factor the difference to your health. Yea its way cheaper!
As far as the atomisers lower resistance ohms higher = heat and vapor.
Truthfully the wont be the exactly the same as analogues no matter what you do but with the nicotine and a little adjustment you can be successful! Ive been clean about a month now and I have no want to go back.

| yeah i think we've all been in your shoes, so dont stress. a 510 or kr808 kit should run you around 50 bucks, buy a 5 pack of cartomizers 8-9 bucks, and a 30ml bottle of liquid for another 10 bucks.
in the begining nothing will compare to a real ciggy, but the trick is to starve yourself. throw away EVERY ASH TRAY and EVERY LIGHTER. (you dont have too, but it worked for me). after about a week or two of only vaping my brains chemisrty started to change. its hard to explain....almost like my brain realized it wasnt the smoke or tar, it now wanted the nicotine. so it took me a good two weeks to quit. but now i've been ciggy free since july 30th. i hope you can do it too. chime in and let us know how you are doing and we all will try to help ya! good luck |

From a complaint site: Very Bad experience, like all the other complaints. I called myself reading ALL the fine print. The charge of 149.90 for the "Trial Product Offer" which they advertised for only 9.95 plus S&H, the Autoship program fees were deeply imbedded. I did not consciously agree to that.
I called today when the 149.90 appeared on my bank account. Threatened to call the Attorney General's office. First, Ebb was only going to credit me with 100. Threatened again. Now, they are crediting me with the full 149.90, but I have to use the RMA number, ship the original trial pack back at my expense.
Thankfully, I never opened it. Smelled a fish, barracuda! DO NOT DO BUSINESS with these slime balls. Please!
Read more: Consumer complaints about Prado Electronic Cigarette
Yeah, TRIAL OFFERS! $9.95 shpping only! The one I fell for was $69 a month for 20 cartridges I could have bought online for $1 each. GET OUT OF IT FAST and tell them NOT to charge your credit card!!!
Pick a more reputable dealer like some listed here, like LeCig, etc. Better product and you buy what YOU want when YOU want it!
Trial offers.... GRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

People don't get bent out of shape if you ask a question that has been asked before. I can't read 2,000 posts to find an answer to a question.
My2heartboys: I would suggest that you find a supplier that has a phone number posted. You can explain to them your smoking habits and what it is that you expect from an e-cig. There's nothing like one-on-one customer service. I'm relatively new, but I will help if I can |
