RN4081 Pass Thru Battery. Just got this in from VaporGuys. I believe Puresmoker has it too, for their PeeWee units (same thing, all fit together). Have it hooked up to the APC power pack.

I haven't been this satisfied e-smoking in a while, lots of crap outs and weak juice was throwing me off lately.

Now, I had been using my peewee more recently because as I laid out in another post (My Favorite E-Cig 2 months in is....), I just wasnt getting the throat hit, kick that I needed from the various other models.

With this thing tho, the kick and vapor is insanely good.

The one draw back of the PeeWee before was short battery life, and battery crap outs. That's pretty much been removed now with the passthru, plus making the vaping all that much better. And it's consistent. With the PeeWee, as the battery lost power over hours of use, the hits got weaker each time as well. So thats been removed here too.

Anyway, if you were a heavy analog smoker, and are looking for something closer to that experience, get a RN4081/PeeWee, Pass Thru for it, and some kickin juice, and you should be good to go. IMO, blows the 901 with passthru experience away.

One possible downside, if you consider it one, is that it blazes through juice. I put in 2 or 3 drops, and get 2 or 3 heavy inhales, then I get the dry smell/taste like it's time to re-drip. The vapor is plenty, hot, and thick though. So I guess between this atomizer, and the high consistent power source, it's just cooking it. But, I dont care, cuz its good.

Its the same with my 901 passthru.. It cranks out the smoke.. and it is from puresmoke..

Yeah, that one does kick ass, but Ive used both now, and the RN4081 version blows the 901 version away.

Just so newbies/readers don't get the wrong impression.... the passthrough isn't making any one ecig better than any another, it simply transmits the power from a power source to the atomizer. All working passthroughs are equal and transmit the same amount of power, so to speak. The RN4081 blowing away the 901 is an atomizer preference and any difference in performance is due to the atomizers not the passthroughs.

That said, I'm a lot happier with all my ecigs now that I've got passthroughs.

I can only imagine how well it's working for you guys.
I got a PS 901 passthrough, and it never worked properly. The cutoff is set at about 2 seconds... no fun at all.

That is true, the actual USB passthru works the same. It transfers power at a better, consistent rate to the atomizer from the power source (computer or USB power pack, etc). The only major difference between the 901 and PeeWee passthru is the threads at the end that connect to the atomizer.

What I was saying, is that the passthru that connects to the R4081 atomizer makes the vaping better with that style of e-cig, and overall it is the best Ive had.

My preference, for sure.

Try rapidly blowing in and sucking out of the passthru a couple times, the pause, and repeat. Sometimes you need to reset the chips and switches in there, and sometimes that helps do it.

AFAIK there would not be a cutoff in the passthrough. It's connection issue, wire issue, or power issue.

One solution that worked for poster on another forum was (try only if you have extra atomizers!) -- I just took a small pair of pliers and put the tips on either side of the center little round thingy with the tiny hole in it at the screw end of the atomizer and just gave it a ever so slight tug and twist.

Also I know it doesn't work well on some laptops.

I have multiple passthroughs in two styles and not every single atomizer works with them because they don't all connect perfectly. The atomizer I'm using right at this moment only works on the passthrough if I keep the battery connections clean. When too much juice seeps through I have to wipe them off. But others, it doesn't matter. They are that futzy.

There are other tricks folks use to make the connection more consistent in addition to these and Vapetron's, too much for me to find and post over here (sorry!).

I tried that one before until I was blue in the face, didn't seem to make a difference.

Maybe once I get plenty of spare batteries I'll try the pliers trick.

I have a USB passthru on my EM-901 and it works great! It does however go through some serious amount of juice. I have a USB passthru on the way for the penstyle too, cant wait.

Yeah, my Yeti tears through some juice too. I guess this is because it burns so hot and creates so much vapor.
