Thank YOU Mr. Wizard!

The Eagle has Landed!!! This is one small step for vapers. One Giant Leap for mankind!
I suggest Everyone thinking about doing DIY, Just Do it! Shoot The Moon!
Anyways, I HAD to say something about the packaging and shipping...
This was Fast, and SAFE enough to make it to the Moon and back!
Wrapped in bubble-wrap, then re-wrapped, Airtight! Nothing Broke.
Everything labeled and perfect- like it came directly from a Lab!
...OUTSTANDING Prices and Ultra-fast service!
Thanks again Mr. Wizard, and I look forward to trying some juices, and doing more reviews on the actual products.
Again, everything looks perfect!

His website- http://wizardlabs.us/index.php?route=common/home

BTW- Self review- I paid for my product and was not compensated for anything.

Great products, great shipping, great customer service and shipped like it could survive a nuclear holocaust. Only roaches and Wiz's package survive!

Very neat/professionally labeled bottles-

Check out how CLEAR this stuff is- That's Tobacco on the left- and it's crystal Clear!

I like that because I know it doesn't have the artificial colors or anything to make it look good- Just Pure Juice!
Mixing some up tonight- Thanks Mr. Wizard!
Keep Vapin!

Start your flavors at 2% and tobacco at 1% that stuff is super strong. Then just add to taste.

are you talking about tob alc or something like 555 flavoring or DK Tab flavoring
Im using like 5% all the time in mixtures as a flavoring mixed w other flavorings..but I have a zombie tongue so YMMV

Yeah, I'm doing it drop by drop- less is more with this stuff! (So I've read)

I think it's a flavoring to "Add" to something- not just as a stand alone.
in fact I think it was called "Dried Tobacco" on his sight- the only Tobacco flavoring I saw without the alcohol in it's ingredients. Not sure when I will try it, I want to get a good mix (70/30 with 24MG Nic Base) tonight and try some French Vanilla first!

Thanks for the replies

Thanks for the kind words!

Most of the flavorings are direct from The Flavor Apprentice.
Linda really does seem to care about the quality and safety of her flavorings when it comes to using them for vaping.
She's the only flavoring vendor I know of that goes beyond the Diacetyl concern and lists any flavorings that contain other Diacetyl substitutes which may end up being just as harmful, or may actually form Diacetyl after manufacture.
The fact that she avoids artificial colors when possible is an added bonus.
I was just reading Rocky's thread on Strange Chemicals in E-Juice, and the unknown dangers of flavorings ranks high on my list as well.

I do love and carry a few LorAnn's flavorings, and really wish they would jump onboard the fact that there's a whole new market open to them, and act accordingly by removing some of the dyes or making colorless alternatives available.

Are you cutting the 24mg/ml down with anything besides flavoring?
What strength did you normally vape before DIY?
I ask because if you're adding 5% flavoring to 24mg/ml nic base you are only dropping the nicotine concentration down to 22.8mg/ml which may be too strong if you normally vape 12-16mg.

I just started considering dropping the 24mg/ml down to 16 or 18mg/ml as a ready-to-add-flavoring base for those who don't want to fuss with adding PG/VG.
I'm sure steam is snerking to himself right now.

I like messing with VG/PG - trying new stuff, that's what it's about, right?

But I did get my base at around 25-26mg- here's how I employed the KISS method.
__________________________________________
50 drops of 48MG (50PG/50VG premix)
45 drops of (OMG! PG)
------------------------
Leaves me 5 drops to play with the flavors (OMG PG!)

5 out of 100 = 5% flavor, and the integrity of 24mg
with exactly 75PG/25VG.
__________________________________________

like I said in another post- I used an abacus.
(*KISS System - Keep It Short and Simple!)

Not sure how much ml that is, but it's not much. Hits Hard, so I may cut with VG instead of PG, or cut back more nic?

Done this way for testing, I don't want 50ml of something intolerable.
Thanks Again for all the help Mr. Wizard!

MS AB For the WIN !!!

if you didnt order a few handfuls of syringes from Wiz ya may want too counting 30 - 40 drops gets to be a pain and when you start making bigger batches .........

not to mention everything from the dropper itself, different thickness of everything and the temp will change the drops

I have a complete hospital arsenal of syringes,

plus measure cups, etc. my mom-in-law works at a nursing home and kids have alergies and asthma.

Now- If i measure 50 drops of this and that, and it works well, after testing, I will change from drops to ml's. then I dont have to worry about size of drops varying.

I shouldn't have to much problem. Especially with the abac.... alright, I'll stop with the abacus references!

Hi, will there be a new supply of nicotine solution soon? Because everything reads "out of stock" at the moment.

He said he was having problems with the site, I'm sure he'll fix it asap.
BTW- I found another DIY shop here locally... but Mr. Wizards saved me Big Money, he's worth the wait.

OK, thanks very much, I will wait then. Yeah, seen other vendors too, much more expensive and I need it diluted for I really don't wanna mess with pure nic myself.

We did get hit with a slew of orders and got buried.
Just as we were starting to dig out of it, a first-time DIYer posted a negative comment on the big forum about her first attempt with our nic base tasting and smelling terrible, like perfume/chemicals/soap.

I wouldn't have known about it, but luckily vapeip noticed it and alerted me.
After all the positive comments from everyone who's taste-tested before, it was a shock.
I received a lot of emails from customers and some vendors saying nothing was wrong with their orders and it was probably just a newbie not being used to the nic smell/taste, and since I don't add anything to mask it, our nic has a little more "punch" than some others.

That may be, but I'm not going to take any chances when it comes to nicotine, so I put a hold on shipping any more orders with nic, and made it all out of stock until I had a chance to test everything and hear back from the vendors who were just getting their orders.
Lost a lot of sleep for a couple days, staying up late, titrating, taste-testing, emailing, re-examining procedures, checking PG/VG, etc.
I'm still waiting to hear back from one vendor who's got an order from the same batch arriving tomorrow, but so far no problems have been found anywhere, and I'm still getting emails from customers with positive feedback for confirmation... so I finally got my first full night of sleep in a week last night.

Now I've got a backlog of orders that've been waiting to be filled.
Once I get those done I'll put some more nic on the site.

Since it looks like there's going to be some people who will end up hating the kick of Wiz nic, I'm tossing around the idea of requiring new customers to buy a small sample bottle first before they can buy a big one.
I don't want to end up refunding 500ml bottles left and right because someone didn't do their homework.

And for the record, I don't want to be the wally world of nic.
I would've been more than content just hanging out at vapeatron, taking care of my friends, filling an order or two here and there, and playing in the lab.

Now it's starting to feel like work.

Glad you got it sorted I havent tried your stuff yet But you seem like a great guy and a bunch of people here like your stuff so it must be good LoL.
yes I think its a good idea some one buys a small amount first ? maybe even just make new customers message you before they can make larger orders ?

perhaps some of the other supplied nics aren't quite up to the stated percentages..
or perhaps there are some worried suppliers figure its easier to torpedo a competitor with some negative comments then to try to compete financially... IDK
but I can say I like your nic just fine..
BTW..in light of this...any chance nic test kits will be made available any time soon?
perhaps that might shed some light on the situation...
considering your attention to details Im sure what the long term version of the story will be..

Noob trying to mix, doesn't know what she's doing, starts accusing? pfft!
(This is why I try to stay away from ECF- lol)

Yes I noticed it much cleaner and stronger tasting! like it's supposed to!

So when John asked if I had any problems, I was honest and told him after some small batch tests, it was a little harsher than I was used too... I hope this didn't make him worry more =(

All I did was cut my 75/25 base from down with VG to get a good taste/hit/vapor.
Tried 60/40, smoother- I went to 45/55- Very nice! Still experimenting.

Nice thing about my kit is that I can keep it at 24mg Nic and go from 80%PG all the way to 75%VG! This is Vaping!

Love the products Wizard! Check out Tek's video of what it looks like when it arrives- it arrived like that for me too. With this kind of detail, it's sad anyone would accuse you of bad product.

-you can change your website back "On the 18th we put a temporary hold on shipping out...due to a negative customer comment " This is probably not needed now...
Thanks Mr. W!
