| Aaargh, please don't! Ordering from outside the US is difficult enough for me as it is, I will have to ask help from an American friend to do it for me and ship to me after she received it from you.
Some people are just stupid and mess everything up - baking cakes, cooking an egg, even making coffee. |

Would not surprise me at all... Some ask nearly 4x as much for the same stuff, so yeah, the possibility of someone putting a 'plant' on a big forum to sling some mud hoping it will stick, is quite possible IMO. |

| Wiz, you have no idea what it took for me to keep from lambasting that newb DIY'er over at ECF...still holding my tongue. I knew you would handle it with the professionalism that all of us here know you posess.
Well done Sir.

I found the offending post and looked at post history of that member. I doubt she is a plant. Just inexperienced with DIY. It's common to post issues out in the open forum rather than contact the vendor. I hope the effort you put into helping her actually helps.
I'm sure this will not be your one and only negative comment over on the big forum. It's just the way things are with that many people out there. I liked your reply over there, and the post in this thread was way over the top. Kudos for the stock block, investigation. Some might think it was unnecessary, but that's just the kind of effort I would expect from you.
You da man
BTW, the NIC I received (probably not the same lot) was just fine.
Still think a pre-order IQ test for unflavored would be a good idea
@BK: I have never noticed any significant difference in NIC strength of ANY unflavored or pre-mixed I've ordered from anywhere. I have the materials to do the quick blue test but usually don't even bother with it. Now that I'm vaping 12mg/ml I can tell 18mg/ml is way too high and 6mg/ml doesn't hack it. That's close enough for me.
If it's not vapers asking "does it matter which direction I put batteries in a mod", or "can I stack short batteries in my PILA charger?, I stack them in my IPRO" or "what can I use to cut 100mg/ml unflavored" or even "where can I buy pure Nicotine". Maybe I'm just a little critical with Noobs, but you have to have internet access to join a forum in the first place, maybe search a little for an answer. Some of the really ' off the wall' questions I see are from people that have a year or two on that forum, and over a hundred posts so that doesn't seem to be adequate qualification to be called a "veteran".
Anyway, you handled this as a professional, with care and tact.
Rocky

John, I'll take it from her, and anyone who wants to return it. I have the same batch and yes, as a noob it tastes STRONGER to me... actually hurt my throat at 30+mg! (but felt Ohhh so good!- anyways....) lol check my other post out... I've been vaping it all day and now it's better than my "bought e-juice" (at an 1/6 the cost!) Heck, I'll even cover the shipping Wiz, don't let any of this stuff go to waste.
I also didn't think she was a shill, but i'm thinking the stuff I buy from others is not pure- like street stuff, cut to the bone, then alcohol added to spice it up. I'm ready to throw out 1/2 the bottles I purchased from everyone else!
Keep it Clean!
Keep Vapin! Quote:

Yes I noticed it much cleaner and stronger tasting! like it's supposed to!
So when John asked if I had any problems, I was honest and told him after some small batch tests, it was a little harsher than I was used too... I hope this didn't make him worry more =(
All I did was cut my 75/25 base from down with VG to get a good taste/hit/vapor.
Tried 60/40, smoother- I went to 45/55- Very nice! Still experimenting.
Nice thing about my kit is that I can keep it at 24mg Nic and go from 80%PG all the way to 75%VG! This is Vaping! Love the products Wizard! Check out Tek's video of what it looks like when it arrives- it arrived like that for me too. With this kind of detail, it's sad anyone would accuse you of bad product.
-you can change your website back "On the 18th we put a temporary hold on shipping out...due to a negative customer comment " This is probably not needed now...
Thanks Mr. W! | |

| I appreciate the sentiments, but I've talked to her and she's just a nervous newbie like we all were at one point. Besides, everyone's tastes are different. Even after she becomes a DIY guru, she may never like the taste or smell of my nic. I don't take it personally.
Try to put yourself in her shoes for a moment.
You just ordered your very first batch of dangerous chemicals from someone you've never met, and doesn't have a long business history.... (hmmm, I probably wouldn't order from there myself...)
Everyone's told you how DIY is so great, and your head is all full of rainbows and sunshine.
Then your package comes and there's this bottle full of something that don't look or smell anything like rainbows and sunshine.
It looks and smells more like it could be... dangerous chemicals.
But you put your anxiety aside long enough to mix it and vape it, and it just doesn't taste the same as the store bought juice you're used to.
Something must not be right.
So you mix some more flavors and vape them... still not right.
So you vape the unflavored 24mg straight. Yuck.
Now your anxiety is back tenfold, you've got a headache, you feel sick, you think you might have just poisoned yourself, so you go running to the the only place you know and trust to ask your friends in a way that will get you a quick response.
I'm sure if she bought a pair of shoes from me instead of a bottle of chems she just stuck in her body, she would have calmly emailed me back.
Besides, if she was a plant, she definitely wouldn't have made that second post... so thank you all for keeping the restraints on... thankfully they're part of the official uniform here.
The real torpedoing will come soon enough... Quote:

Now Mrs. Wiz has us shopping around for a bigger space, and we haven't even begun to pay down the start-up costs yet. |

| Well, you're a good sport and it's good to see you're not panicking over this. Still if I were in her shoes, I would have contacted you first and then, should I have gotten no reply maybe, only then perhaps I would ask around on the boards a bit.
O besides, doesn't matter how long you vape, if you smoke more than you're used to and/or at a higher nic level, you still get nic OD. This is just what happened to that lady, she was so busy mixing, tasting the stuff she brewed so she OD'd herself on accident. Happened to me too. Just drink some water with a bit of sugar or some juice, spikes the blood sugar and the OD goes away fast. |

Id say based solely on throat hit alone though without any quantifiable measurement data I could see how some might wonder. Im my case Im relatively sure all parties are honest and they are what they say they are...but having the ability to readily test them I would have out of satisfaction of my own personal curiosity.. I also realize the can of worms releasing that same DIY test kit to the general masses would very likely open as well...For the record I personally liked the greater hit...but still begs the question to me what causes the difference? a difference in the extraction process?...IDK...still curious..but on the record in no way was the nic objectionable in any fashion from WizardLabs

| I am doing what Mr Wizard suggested. I am ordering the smallest bottle to sample. I did get a bottle of nic that no matter how it was cut was unvapeable. I had multiple people try it and it still had a very bad chemical taste and odor. So I am doing the smart thing and getting a small bottle. |

| Good Idea!
Well, I'm vaping the batch he had "problems" with and I added VG instead of PG to cut and it's fine now.
The watermelon was a little rough, didn't taste soapy though? I cut it with a little vanilla... not much difference...
So I pulled out the Tobacco bottle, and dropped a few drops to a small mix (1.5ml?) - Now it hits perfect, tastes a little milder, but can barely taste the tobacco...
This is going to get nuts when I start on the Black Cherry, Bavarian Creme, Carmel mix...
If I don't EAT it first!

Great stuff Wiz! As planned, I labeled some bottles, Cut my nic base to 36mg.
I cut these to around 20% flavoring- (so end result around 29mg strength)
"Mt Dew" - Light refreshing Lime/lemon vape- very tasty!
"Black Cherry" - A smooth Black Cherry -soda taste!
(I'll probably mix these two- and see what happens... Muahhahaha!)
"Bavarian Creme" - light vanilla ultra smooth, custardy finish!
"Caramel Candy" - Very deep, dark, nutty caramel flavor (may go good w/tobacco and/or vanilla?)
My "goto" has been Wiz's "Blueberry Extra" all week-
....It is like tasting a buttery, blueberry on a stick! =) Love it!
