I'm newish to all this. I keep reading about how great 4 hole atomizer are. So why shouldn't I drill a couple holes in my atomizer?

There is no reason you shouldn't do it except it would void your warranty if you have any. But the truth is that the mouth piece is more restrictive than the atomizer. I say play play play and find what works best for you.

also... personally, i find that less holes are better. creates more pressure. try covering one of the holes with your finger and see what happens.
