ive got my list of all needed for set up kit. (ego starter kit, juice, etc) but now the question is who to buy from? joyetech.com offers 6 months warranty but the price is higher than other sites. pro and cons of shopping for hardware i guess. can some experienced buyers chime in and help me out here? thanks all!

I bought Rivas from AltSmokes cause the price was good at the time.
If your concerned with warranty perhaps Mike can tell you his on the PigCigs but you will need adapters to 510 style threading I believe.
Consider the cost of shipping something back under warranty though

Not sure I could offer much advice here beyond this: If you pay more than about 35 bucks for your kit, you are paying for customer service. If you pay more than 35 bucks for your kit and don't GET excellent customer service, you are getting jacked. I'm personally an anti-social self-service kinda gal, and I paid 39 bucks for my 510 (dual atty kit) and another 18 for my PCC. In hindesite, I could have gotten a better deal, but not much better. The eGo's run a little higher.

If you're all about the bottom line, the cheapest I've spotted was a dual eGo kit with options (colors, auto or manual, etc,) for 59.00, and free shipping, over at https://www.cignot.com/product_p/kit-ego-all.htm.

Can't vouch at all for the service, since I've never shopped with CigNot. If you want quality personal customer care, other folks here could probably point you in the best direction.

L-F are good folks, from my experience, and that 20% sale is a terrific deal. Their shipping rates are excellent, plus, you're asked to give reviews of anything you buy there, and for every review, they give you like .50 cents credit toward any future purchase.

I agree with everything Flash posted.

It really helps to read through the forum. Between reading from other's experiences and comparing to what your own experience is, you get more comfortable as time goes on.

Too true. Kev seems pretty on-the-ball, though. I'd forgotten all about that 20% off sale, and I just bought stuff from them like yesterday.

Kev,don't start with me you know how I get.
Sitting on my desk in front of me is a rough stack(madvapes.com),2 of johnnys megaextreme mach1s, an eGo, 1 of Mikes pigcigs, a Hello 016, and a 3.7v parallel 14500 box mod and in a shot glass on the shelf by my monitor are 8901 or 808 batteries and 3ea. 510s and a 4081. In the drawer to my left are 2 of Rocketmans Trailer Park mods
So I guess the answer to your question is it's raining starter kits.

hee hee hee.

thats a lot of hardware man! and a lot of $$ vested! do they all work? do all of you have that much hardware? is it from upgrades? if so whats best? or is the answer to that question situational? like you use some for the office because its no hassle and others at home experimenting?
