I bought flavoring from TotallyWicked and they use little asterisks " ** indicates the flavor contains either colorings, oil or sugars and may not be suitable for Vaping in a personal vapourizer. "

Is there one place where I can go and see which brands and flavors are good for vaping or not?

That's just their way of saying "I'm not really sure if vaping these flavors will kill you or not, if it does, oh well, told you so, if not, hope you enjoy our flavor". Pretty normal disclaimer.

I think Kaye reported back on some flavor drops she likes, and there was the one that has the really cool names that someone posted, can't remember the name, but they found them in a head shop or Ra-shop.

I use Loranns and attys still last a pretty long time for me.
You could try the soft carts that fit the 510 (LeCig has them).
They are refillable, and cheap, remember, I'm cheap.
Would you really care if flavoring clogged up a $2 cartomizer after a few days?

There are LOTs of flavors without the asterisks too, so when I bought the LorAnn flavors I just chose those with no asterisks.
Just wondering if there's an all-in-one wiki or such for flavorings?

If you run across RedBull flavoring let me know.
I don't know of a flavor list other than what vapers have tried.
I don't know if a seller is going to recommend any flavor that someone could come back and claim "your flavor destroyed my atty".
I'm sure someone would try and blame them for part failures.
Even if I said I like the Cinnamon flavor from loranns, and it doesn't seem to clog my attys, it just might be my juice and vaping method that keeps the atty from clogging and someone else would claim that flavor is an oil and bad for attys.

I've seen reports the a U.S. made PG juice clogged their atty, and reports that another U.S. made VG juice clogged their atty.

Sweet flavors with natural sugar in them, and I don't think any of the Loranns "strong" candy flavors have sugar in them, are bad for attys.
Just how long does it take for whatever you vape to clog the atty is the big question because it seems everything but distilled water will clog an atty. Vape hard enough to fully vaporize whatever you use. Sort of like punching it with an old Cadillac to clear out the carbon

I understand. I'll just post the recipes I mixed and liked as a separate thread in hopes of starting a trend then. That way I can easily look and see what flavor somebody used and liked. And I guess I'll do that in this section. I don't know if I've had a clogged atty yet...doing pretty good. I am only now vaping with VG tho. We'll see. I'm having a hard time keeping one flavor from another!

Hello Men;
I know Im new here. Im reading your thread on clogging up your atty. When you say clogged, are we talking ruined? or just stopped up? Ive had a couple of them get junky and Im not sure how to clean them right so they got shelved.

the cartos with some flavorings tend to get gummed up and the draw on them becomes so bad the carto actually begins bending inwards.....well maybe not the last part..
usually I can get a couple weeks out of a carto before it starts getting noticeably clogged so to speak where performance drops off..Some juices could do that in 2 days..
Supposedly some people have success cleaning them with various methods but I dont really bother with that.

SRY, and women.
Thanks for the info.
Ive seen some of these you tube videos on cleaning them and it looks like they spend more on cleaning chemicals than the attys cost.
I like tankomizers on my t-rex persomally. can't seem to wear one out.

I seen it!

lol
Cleaning cartos- (DO NOT throw them away!)
I thought it was too messy, and time consuming to clean them "the right way".

So after a month of vaping, (I've only used 3 carts this whole time- but I also use my eGo T 1/3 of the time) when they put out less vapor I just run water through them, and blow them out.
That's it! Saves you a carto!

Let them dry for an hour, and fill em up again!
This will save time and it cleans them enough to last another few days, then just water them again- like a plant!

I haven't had any fail on me yet, but I was told they are very disposable, so I have 2 boxes of spares... they should last me all spring, maybe even summer!
Keep Vapin!

Ive never really been able to get them to perform like "new" again trying to clean them...crud build up on coils and filler compression/separation seem to work against it..but I still get a couple weeks out of most of them so I just chuck them and start fresh..cheap enough for even me ...LOL

on cartos, Iv'e been using the same 15 and rotating them since the middle of November. My wife is still happy with them and says they work ok so I havent seen a reason to clean or destroy them. I did see a video of a guy that would boil them, then rinse then boil them again for 15 minutes each time then put them upside down and drain them overnight and start using them again. I guess that's ok if you have maybe 60 or 70 of them.

I had asked about my atty. I wound up soaking it in vodka for a little while. That took the taste of that chocolate out.

I'm with berger on this one, carto's are cheap enough i just toss them when they die lol... i tried cleaning some at first, but with the boges they always ended up tasting like wet wool no matter how long i let them dry for. and the ce2's just never seemed to put out much vapor after being cleaned.

If you think about it and say you pay a $2.00 for a carto and it lasts a week. What did you pay for a pack of smokes $4.00 or up a pack and it might last a day or day and a half. That makes a carto quite a bargain even if you pitch them once a week eh?

exactly... and on the smokes... i'm a trucker... i used to smoke pallmall non-filters, would get them for about $35 a carton or thereabouts... but i also smoked 2+ packs a day and sometime a good cigar when i could afford one lol... 2-6$ a week on cartos is dirt cheap compared to the $7+ a day i spent on analogs

I agree on the cost/money part. By the same token I can hold a quarter till it turns into two dimes and a nickel, so if it works, it gets used.

True, if the're still working for you, use them until you can't stand them anymore All we're saying is, it's really not worth the hassle of cleaning them and settling for subpar performance since the price of cartos these days are quite economical

I have several types of cartos but have been using various dual coil cartos lately.
I've found that one coil usually fails before the carto gets clogged or otherwise messed up. One working coil on a dual coil gives a pitiful weak vape, but at least you can puff along until you can get back home to replace it

I tried cleaning, with marginal success. Since juice is SOooo cheap, I flood the carto with juice, shake out the excess. This also makes the clear ones less yukko looking

Agreed on yucco . I went to the black tanks from health cabin so I dont have to look at the carmelized vg. kinda makes it less appealing.

Well hello stranger. I used to clean in the beginning but found it wasn't worth the trouble and nothing beats a fresh carto
