I don't want to order online, Simply because I dont want to wait, so is there a distributor or retailer or store or warehouse ANYWHERE in southern CALI that I can pick one of these up at?

Check Phil with E-smokeytreats.com I know he is in Cali not sure if its Socal though.. TrueSmoker ships overnight when needed so if cant find anywhere else we got Platinum 510's in stock may cost a few bucks more but if don't wanna wait I am sure you don't mind that....

I'm in SoCal as well - Inland Empire. Don't know where to go and buy local; but...

I ordered from electronicstix.com early on Monday, had my 510's in my hands on Wednesday. He's got pretty good prices.

Jason ships Priority Mail for a flat $6, and I usually get an email from him within a couple hours saying it's in the mail or ready to go.

He's really good to deal wth. I had a battery go bad after a week; emailed him - he wrote back in a few hours and said to send it back and he'll replace it.

I've made three purchases from him, and it's been the same treatment each time.

$6 Priority Mail shipping? Does he just shove everything in a flat-rate envelope? What kind of condition was everything in when it arrived?

All my shipments have came in small Priority boxes. The starter kits are in their own boxes and he individually wraps other items (juice, batts, attys, etc) in large Priority envelopes and places them in the shipping box. Dead space (if any) is filled with empty Priority envelopes.

Everything looks & functions as it should when received.
