A friend and I are going to attempt our first flashlight mod. The only thing we are missing is a battery connection (preferably KR808D-1) and protected batteries. If someone could just direct me to a site with good prices on these I'd very much appreciate it. Thanks.

Madvapes is always a good bet, not cheapest on batts(but reasonable) and he has everything you'll need.

liberty flights has 99c connectors, and the customsabershop.com for batts, or lighthound for 3v lipo4 safe chem batts <what i use> or ebay for either cr123 3.7/3.0 or 18650, i would go with trustfire flames, or 14500 blue trust fire. that is what i have, just got a lot of each lol.

You'd be surprised what makes for a good dummy battery. SteelJan, on YouTube, made a dummy 18650 battery out of a garden tool handle.

See this: YouTube - Making an 18650 Personal Vaporizer Box Mod Part 2 - Building It

TWICE I have been in repair shops when a Nissan pickup fell apart. One was a '94 and the other was a '97. When I was working at a Toy dealer they were removing a tranny from a Corolla for a warraty repair and....OOOPS! Ya gotta OFFSET the car on the lift for when the weight comes off!

You need to throw some oil all over it to represent those who fill cartomizers whilst they are still on the batteries ... and wonder why warranties don't cover accidental drowning in PG

Nothing wrong with filling cartomizers while they're on the battery, as long as the battery connector is sealed. If it isn't, then I'd agree with you 100%, but personally, I'll never own a PV without a sealed battery connection.

I was referring to the Autos, since we've started carrying PVs too, this is non existant w/ the manuals.

Believe it or not, the D1s are still our best seller!
