| Use this thread to let us know what we can change, add, and improve upon at Vapeatron.com to make it a better spot for you guys.
We may not be able to do it all, or do it right away, but we will always reference this thread when thinking about changing things, even if we do not respond.

| Hey VapeAtron, love your site BTW. Best ecig forum I have come across. Got a few suggestions for ya.
My favorite part of your site is the "Model Guide". Clicking an image and having it bring up the larger view is great. However, other sites are setup so that when you click the larger picture it simply closes and takes you back to the "normal" view. When I click the larger image, it just opens up in another tab on my firefox. Kinda annoying That is more of a nit-pick and I could always just use the big X in the corner of the image to close it, but I guess I am just too lazy
The other thing I thought would be cool, and maybe you already have this and I just haven't run across it, would be a section of the forum where people could post inquires about certian companies/websites they have run across to get everyone else's opinions on them; eg. wether or not they have purchased from them before, what they've heard about them, etc. Not necessarily an end-user supplier review per say, but more of a "hey, I found this site, what do you think of it?" kinda thing.
Well anyway, just a couple of few suggestions. Great site. Keep up the good work!!!

| Thanks for the feedback, just saw this now. The image thing, I think it does that because many times, the image can be larger than the preview pop up, so it does that for you to view the full size image. Ill see whats available to change tho.
Retailer questions, Ill also try to work that in. Thanks! |

| Hello Vapeatron.
First let me say that I am not only new to e-cigs, but to posting in forums as well. I love your forum, but most of all I am excited about this new technology and am going to try and support it the best way I can. I've done lots of research about e-cigs and the one thing i would like to see from your site is an e-cigarette rating scale used on a dashboard (like at the right) maybe most popular e-cig based several categories such as performance, durability, etc. Much like Leaford's reviews. but more like:
Consumer Choice Awards
--------------------------------------------
Best Performance: [hyperlink to product]
Longest Battery Life: [hyperlink to product]
Best Vapor Production: [hyperlink to product]
and so on...
Overall Best: [hyperlink to product]
Something like that.
Just a thought if you dont have it already. If you do have something like it already please let me know. |

| I love the look of this site but sometimes I find navigation is quirky from what I am used to. |

It would take away from all the post's.
Just my opinion.

| Believe me, you have to moderate a chatroom all the time or you get all sorts of trash. There's plenty of places to "chat" if you ask me. LOL |

| Hello,
Great site; it's where I've learned most about e-cigs to make my first buying decision.
About buying decisions - I would like to see an "official" thread or area where we can rate our transactions with vendors. I took a chance when I bought because I couldn't find much information about the vendor I chose to buy from. It turned out great, and I have since made a second purchase from the same vendor, and plan to purchase again.
I belong to a photography forum where they have a similar thread where you rate your transactions with other members. Us photographers usually buy and sell equipment often. The site is photographyonthe.net
Maybe something similar to a "fleaBay" rating system. Positive, negative or neutral with the option (or requirement) of leaving a comment. An outline could be provided and adhered to so there is some consistancy to the ratings.
It would be nice to have all ratings in a single place where it would be easier to search.
What do you think? |

What do you think? | Sounds like a good idea. Although we do have something similar in place. You can rate threads. So in the suppliers section people can rate the thread of the supplier. Not quite the same but close. |

Chat would be good for RIGHT NOW but when people log on later they would have missed it all. When people post things forum style it is there for everyone forever. Maybe someone should start an e-cig chatroom in yahoo messenger or something (maybe someone already has). |

| Hi,
I noticed a banner on another e-cig forum that many are using in their signature. Something like "I've been smoke free for XX days and saved XX dollars".
It comes from a site: SmokeFree Quitmeter
Could we get the BB code permissions to run this in our siggy? I just think it would be cool. I'm proud that I've finally been able to quit smoking, and it's nice to see how much I'm saving!
Thanks,

You could always start a thread asking for people's opinion on their top 10. We(Vapeatron.com) wouldn't want to promote one seller over another unless they were sponsors or something though. |

| Ok, that makes perfect sense. So, what about incorporating all the sponsors they all put up 50 e-cigs. Ready set sale! I'd love watching the stats in real time. That would be so much fun especially if you had avatar race cars circling a track. OK...I know I'm getting out there. I have to much time to think today and to little sleep to do it.
Thanks for your time,

| First, let me say that I really appreciate this forum, it's much more user friendly and welcoming than a lot of the other forums.
I would like to see a section for Vapeatron Clubs where peeps can not only commune virtually here but arrange get-togethers locally to vape together and share experiences and knowledge while vaping. One "other" forum has one but they are so formal with many hoops to jump through that people rarely join, so they're not that user friendly virtually or in real life but that's their mistake, it doesn't have to be that complicated. lol
We could set up Vapeatron Clubs, hold informal get togethers and/or sponsored events that would help spread the word about vaping in our local communities and help eCig sellers promote their products as well.
I know I would love to start a club in my area and I'm sure many others would too.
What do you say Vapetron, is this doable?

| Breakfree, I think this is what you are looking for: http://www.vapeatron.com/groups/
Sounds like you have some really good ideas on how to run a group ... what about starting a thread and elaborate on your ideas? |

| Thanks Godling.
Instead of or in addition to individual/isolated online groups tho, I would rather see an actual Vapeatron home page section devoted to (and easier to find) official, sanctioned Vapeatron Clubs.
Vapeatron members and eCig sponsors/suppliers are much more likely to get behind official Vapeatron Clubs (which could be in every state/community) than isolated on various splinter groups. In other words, Vapeatron would be the necessary, cohesive component for clubs with the added benefit of attracting advertisers for themselves.
You are correct Godling, I have spent much time and years organizing on and offline for various concepts and issues so I have learned to always KISS (keepitsimplestupid) for the best success.

| Supporting renderwerks suggestion of 6/16/09, I'd like to have a "smoke-free stats" banner to use; is there one here and I've missed it? If not, can we have one on this site?
Suggestion: Can a forum admin move the "sales hype only" responses that some dealers seem to post randomly on threads not concerned with sales info to a place for sales hype? I don't mean the many dealers who participate in this forum and respond appropriately in threads based on the topic and the comments but those like the one on "newb here" made yesterday that had nothing to do with the topic. When we come across those, can we report them and ask to have them moved to a "sales hype reply moved" thread somewhere?

| I was wondering if VapeAtron might want to add to the forums a forum topic called "recipes". This would be a place where everyone could share their own recipes for e-liquids that they came up with. The new forum would be a way of archiving all the recipes that we all summit. This way it would be an easy way to look up new recipes that people came up with on their own.
Something like:
40drops of unflavored e-liquid 36mg
35 drops of Tobacco flavor 24mg
40 drops of French Vanilla 18mg
50 drops of Carmel 18mg
25 drops of PG
And then give it a name like "Mick's Ry4" imitation
