I use pencil on self adhesive paper labels. I use it on my bottles of homemade juice and on my cartos. By the time the carto is ready for the trash the pencil on the label is faded but not illegible. I usually have to relabel my juice bottles once a month or so. I have tried using several types of ink and permanent marker also, but the juice always smears it or it wears off quickly.

Been using the clear plastic dymo label. Xmas present 4yrs ago, and now I finally have a use. Also label my mix bottle this way. Made up sample labels that just overlap on the carts and bottles to get good adherence. 9 letters makes a perfect sign for a CE2 clearomizer. I abbreviate to accomodate. I haven't run into too big of a problem with this yet since I am just starting out, but I have so far enjoyed playing russian roulette with my cartos.

I very seldom get flavors and cartos mixed up.

(advantage of only using one flavor )

A dot of fingernail polish on the bottle and carto or tank etc. will match 'em up nicely
Different colors= different flavors, strengths

I either use a tobacco mix, which is brown, or a fruit flavor and I can tell the difference by the smell. And if I mix a little cherry with a little strawberry...eh...

I ordered them from labelsonline for the glass flavoring vials, but I'm sure you can find them at any local office supply place.
Just look for waterproof labels... address, mailing, stickers, etc.

I liked bam's idea with the rubber bands... very creative... although bikes wins hands-down for best solution!
