With the LorAnn flavorings I find I need to use about 35% to 45% flavoring.
Is that the typical percentage you use in yours?

Wow, I use a lot of flavor but 35% to 45% is a lot more than I use.

With the Loranns "Strong" flavors, in the little 1 dram bottle I use 5 to 10%. With the 1oz regular flavors I use 10 to 15%.

Double check your calculations.
The 1 dram bottle is about 3.7ml. One of those in a 30ml bottle of juice gives you about 33.7 total ml with the flavor being 11% of the mix.

In order to get 45% flavor added to 30ml of juice, you would need to add almost 4 bottles of the flavor. WOW.

Are you adding any VG or PG or water? Or just the flavor?

I'm starting with 150mg nicotine juice. Aqueous Glycerine 0 nicotine. To come out with a 24mg nicotine juice. I'm using Lorann Gourmet 1fl. oz. so I guess it's not super flavored then.
Let me try it with less flavoring and see how I like it.
I think I'm just going by whatever that calculator tells me.

Here is an example using that calculator - be CAREFUL

If you dilute with VG use the water.
If you dilute with PG skip the water.
Use same size dropper for all liquids.

As you are mixing, use common sense?

You are starting out with 150mg/ml juice and want to end up with
juice that is a lot weaker. You should be adding "a lot of liquid".

A little 150, a lot of something else.
Don't use the Glycerin from Thrifty or Hardy's Drugs. That is for Baby Bottoms, not vaping.
You'll have to go all the way to Janise's to get VG

Let's see, common sense ~ got none!
I was just overdoing it with the flavor but otherwise definitely diluting it down to 24mg nicotine.
I've got:
PG 150mg nicotine juice (premixed from dfwvapor.com)
Aqueous Glycerine 0mg nicotine (contains Glycerine USP; <15% Deionised Water) from TW
LorannnGourmet flavor 1 FL. OZ. (Contains: Propylene Glycol, Artificial Flavoring, Ethyl Alcohol)
Also, probably originally from LorannGourmet, a mixture of Strawberry/Champagne and another of Bay Butter Rum from e-liquid8.com
The only VG I have is premixed VG 26mg nicotine from healthcabin.net, no flavor and I have definitely found it's toooooo thick to not water down. I use it to add a touch of thickness to the PG mixes.

Ok, The water content in the Glycerin from TW is OK for now, skip the water in the calculator. If you make 24mg/ml flavored juice and need to add more flavor then it will dilute the NIC just a little.

You might end up with 22mg/ml juice if you have to add more flavor.
Store that 150 in a lock box out in the VW
Don't spill any.

I was out the other day after a snowstorm, and I actually had my camera and some film (yes, I said "film"!) and was getting some really cool shots, when I was on my way to my next service call. My GPS sent me wandering off to East Overshoe via East Cupcake, and I came upon a '72-73 Superbeetle, looking in really good shape, except for the roof being stoved in! And it wasn't recent, either; I bet the thing has been sitting under this tree in the middle of nowhere for about 20 years!
And I didn't stop for a pic...

I use anything tobacco related taste; generaly about 18-25% depending on what flavors (if any) I start with and the desired taste or nic percentage outcome.

I became quite addicted to Red Bull flavor in a high strength nic. Couldn't duplicate that flavor.... and now try stay away from many sweetish type flavors and flavors that make me drool as I do have a sweet tooth.

Playing with mint/menthol right now, but only 6 to 8% of total flavorings.

It's like '91 or '92 Westfalia...the camper with the popup top. I can get a lot more for the individual parts of the insides and poptop frame and such but that's a major PITA so I haven't done anything but let it sit there behind my storage building. Long story.

OK so I switched to using the 48mg nicotine juice from some other place with my same LorAnn flavorings and aqueous glycerin same as before, but something is whack because my stomach has been bothering me since doing this. I cut it down to 22mg instead of 24mg nicotine.
I'll call it gastrointestinal upset!
So, the variable that changed most is using this 48mg nicotine juice, which most likely means there's something disagreeable in the mix.
Ugh!

Back to my 150mg nicotine juice, of which I use much fewer drops. Hopefully that'll get me back to my abbe normal state!

Meanwhile, somebody tell me who they think has the best nicotine product ~ PLEASE?

E-liquid8 is the 48mg I've used in several recipes but i use really puny nic strength.
Glad you survived the big game and Mardi Gras, please quit licking the 150 mg juice hooo dat?

Mardi Gras is on da Fat Tuesday comin up. But Saturdays de parades, Sunday, Lundi Gras's Monday...den Fat Tuesday! Recover on Ash Wensday.

I used to like mardi gras here in st louis. Saturday is nice, but the last few years Fat Tuesday has just been riot police and drunken beatings.

I hope everyone stays safe while hammered. NO is going to be CRAZY this year.

Well that's not right!

I quit doing Mardi Gras IN New Orleans in the early '90s - actually after my first kid in 1993. Metairie is on the edge of the city and much more family friendly, so that's probably where we'll go on Tuesday. That's a 2.5-hour drive from where I live and we'll have to leave in the wee hours of the morning to park and get a spot on the parade route. My girls love it (me too)! No riots in Metairie...only happy drunks

thats great! i have two six year olds and my gf always plays into the valentins days hype and buys them a bunch of crap to celebrate. I would much rather celebrate mardi gras! Only prob is that everyyear some drunk hoosiers are flashin during the parade. this is before noon! not kid friendly, not mother approved.

Weird thing is, every year the police crack down harder on the nudity, drunks, and public urination. Every year it gets more and more sick, demented, and violent. 99-03 when I was 17-21 was the best mardi gras ever. now I get carded every block and spend $200 and never even get more than a little "buzzed". maybe I can mod a bat into a penis for my gf. that ought to be a lovely party favor.
