| I just realized that in the year Ive been vaping, Ive spent about as much as I would have spent on analogs trying out every damned thing I laid my eyes on.
All said and done, I find myself using the same atty on the same mod with basically the same juice every day now. Dual coils, clearomizers, Mega DCs, tanks, horizontal coils, singles, all resistance-
Egos, 3.7 and 6V mods, 3 Variable Voltage mods...God knows how many 510, 901 batteries...
Every day, I use my Merlin set to 3.9, an i06 atty (LR) and either DIY or BWB RY4 or some variant...Topping off with Strawberry Dreamsicle Essence occasionally
Like to hear from some of the veterans...

Like to hear from some of the veterans... | Hey. I've been vaping about a year and 4 months now and have pretty much settled down the same way. I have my VVs that I use mostly with back up ego type batts. I stick with the same carto types, DCs or XL SCs and tanks and have narrow down to a few select juices I use regularly, trying new ones here and there. |

| After 2years and 2500bucks or so I've settled on 3.7 volts and Boge2.0s or rejuvenators or dual coils. I really like the 3.5ml tanks and am using a couple of those and a 5ml with xl LR cartos on eGo type device for the most part. I made a single AA box mod the other day and it suits me.

| Same boat trying many things. Got excited by some but ended up a bit disapointed. Good thing is I havent touched a analog yet so thats good. Think I found my happy point now I hope lol. Right now Im about even but costs are starting to ween down. I think having some ocd might not help with my full dive into all of this as well hahah! |

| Well, although I'm good right now with the PV's I have (IPro, EVO/SVR, MVVV Box, USB eGo) and I like using Dual Coil cartos mainly, and sometimes use Singles. I'm always on the hunt for that extraordinary tobacco vape, I'm hooked right now on Halo Tribeca, Prime15 and Elec Peach Tobacco and my own DIY, I still buy and trade for other tobacco vapes I haven't had yet.
Even though I haven't tallied up what I've spent since the beginning I'm pretty sure it's less than what I would have spent on analogs.

Now that you know what you want, you will start saving some money. Of course, you could have been saving money for months, had you been a more careful shopper/budgeter. I'm "lucky" because that my budget was for 3 packs of cigarettes a day, so it's been cheaper all along for me.
Now, I mostly tailpipe and drip a Joye 510 on an Omega (altsmoke.com) @ 6V, using 2 stacked Tenergy LiFePO4 RCR123A batteries (I believe that's what you were asking about, what we settled into). I normally drip with a JC ePump modified to put out 2 drops per pump, but I broke it and haven't ordered another.

| Man, manual dripping seems like a pain on the road all the time Q
Ive settled into VV (Ipro) with DCC's in a tank with a couple ego types with 1.7 ohm SC's XL in tanks also. I wont run DCCs on egos..I know some get away with it but I just wont chance it with my luck.
The smoke tech tanks at the low cost really make it pretty much hassle free all day vaping for me.
juices change every week as I mix up something else..

Originally Posted by berger Man, manual dripping seems like a pain on the road all the time Q... | Not with the right pump bottle: The trick is in the nozzle. If it's big enough, you can feel it is in the right spot without looking. My eyes never leave the road, and I always have one hand on the wheel. Takes about 3 seconds max, and I can do it in complete darkness (ever wake up and feel like a quick vape?). No tanks, cartos, etc. to fiddle with, I can refill a 15 mL pump bottle in less than a minute, without syringes or funnels and stuff, without making a mess, and be set for days. That's days without fiddling with anything except batteries. I can have as many bottles (flavors) as I want going. I don't even notice I'm doing it now, it's automatic: hmmm, this tastes dry, pump, done.
It's not for everyone, obviously, but it's right for me.
However, I am going to start testing a VV mod with a home-made atomizer/tank thingy that may change all of that. It's Nicotime's latest effort, and before I broke it, it was an absolute beast. I'm sending it back to him now, so he can figure out what I did to it. (Pro Tip: Don't put 6V to a booster designed for 3.7V input, because that's just plain stupid, and only an idiot chimp would do something like that).

I imagine you mean a pic of the ePump, which I also broke, and haven't replaced yet. I'm sure you know what the Omega w/a 510 and batts look like. Here's a very old blog post of mine at the big forum, showing the ePump from JC, and how I modified it to only put out 2-ish drops per pump: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/for...epump-mod.html
Mainly, I haven't replaced it yet, because I'm trying to force myself to mod a smaller, less expensive pump bottle, like the one's available at MadVapes and other places. It's just that it's such a simple, piddling little project, that I keep putting it off. Also, smaller isn't always better: past a certain point, and they become awkward and difficult to handle. As big as the JC ePump is, it's very easy to operate.

| OK sir break-a-lot..thanks for the link...
Ive been giving serious thought to making a VV nicodrip like unit but I think Id like to have some way to limit the drops something similar to what you did with the pump stroke there
Ive been just getting into dripping for taste testing during mixing and Im kinda impressed with the results that way..what kinda attys do you prefer that hold up OK?

| I probably pay too much for real, regular Joye 510's from Cignot, but I just like doing business with them. I sign in, repeat last order, done. Package arrives promptly. I've seen them cheaper at other places (on sale), but I'm a creature of habit.

I can't navigate around that vaping fiesta group very well, because I'm always afraid I'm gonna piss the mods off! I put an SB up for sale on there and said "PM me an offer" I got pile of PM's telling me that "this is not an auction. You have to set a price". So I did and it sold. |
