| Various manufacturers have different doses of their juice - 6mg is low for one while 11mg is low for another.
Currently I'm on the Cash juice 6mg. I smoked Marlboro Ultra Lights so anything higher than 6mg is really hurting my throat. My plan is to gradually work into the 0mg. I realize e-cigarettes aren't as damaging as real cigarettes, but you are still taking a foreign substance into your lungs. Perhaps just going through the motions will work to kick my addiction altogether. Plus the taste of flavors will still provide enjoyment, so it's not like I'll give it up.
What doses do you like? Are you adjusting or weening yourself down? Do you ever think you'll want/need the 0mg? |

| I think I'm on the 24mg but I will probably go lower on my next order. |

| I am on the 36mg strong stuff. Some of the newer liquid Ive gotten, sample packs and one regular juice, was 24. My plan is to slowly work down in strengths, mixing 36 and 24 for a bit. Then get to all 24, and starting mixing 24 and 18. Repeat. I dunno if that's gonna work quickly, because I crapped out on batteries recently, and had a little hisssy fit. I think a lot of that was the lack of nicotine.
Slow and steady! |

| /\ What he said. I started with 36mg (WAY too strong for me), so I got the 24mg sample pack, which is still a bit too strong.
I just ordered a 50ml 16mg of cola flavor (my new favorite), so I'll stick with 16mg for a while and work my way down to 0 nic. |

| I started out with the 16mg of Riskee Yuice, and that was a perfect start no bad symptoms, no bad cough, a very smooth vape. The last order I placed was for my Favorite Liquid: CaSH's Cola 11mg or the low. It has been great for me but I do tend to vape a little bit more of it than usual. I think for any beginner it would be best to stay around 18-11mg nicotine level. Then if it doesn't give you a headache or make you cough and you need more move up a notch. It really depends on the manufacturer that you are getting your liquid from also. The Pure Eliquid that we sell has a harsher side to it than the CaSH's liquid, so you might try and get a sample pack or small quantities of different levels of nicotine liquid from the manufacturer of your choice to start out. Once you find that special liquid to your liking try and move your nicotine levels down after every other order and see if you tell a difference. |

| I know its still not good for you, but I dont really see myself going off Nicotine, so long as there are lower health risks (compared to regular smoking). The trade off of what SEEMS to be lower health risks with this, and the pleasure I get from nicotine, is worth while to me personally. Now if studies or reports come out that show negative effects of using these things long term too, then Ill adjust. But I like the act of smoking, and the feeling of nicotine. My choices. Just dont want an absolute death stamp hanging over my head like with regular cigs. |

Im drippng Cash Pure, or VaporNine (seem to be the same), 36mg, on a PeeWee right now. It has a harsher, more like cigs feel to it. Sometimes I just need that, the smooth vapor from the 901 doesn't cut it while Im working. |

| I'm using 24mg CaSH eLiquid Green Apple (my main flavor).
I've also got 24mg CaSH eLiquid Coffee, I use this anytime I have a coffee.
It really adds a little something to a cup of coffee. |

| I started out with the Fierce (36mg) did that for about a week or so. I'm now using the High (24mg) and it feels just right. The Fierce had a nice "kick" to it, but I am really liking the High, its nice and smooth.... |

It's a relaxing feeling now compared to when I was smoking. I was a dirty smoker, had ashtrays everywhere, stunk up my house, my car, and my life. It's a better feeling for me of not polluting myself and others now. These forums really do help for not just me but for those dealing with their addiction to cigs. The forum is kind of like rehab for smokers online. I'm an addict and my name is Daniel. |

| Started on 16mg, then quickly moved up to 24mg which seems perfect from here on in. Nice and strong, but not ridiculously so. A very pleasurable, satisfying vape at this strength. |

| this topic is very tricky.people always seem to want to know what dose they should use, as did i when i started. the problem is, how often you vape is what makes the difference. some may take 5 hits every 2 hours and some vape constantly. i personally use between 11 and 24 mg depending on whether im at the computer vaping a lot, or at work and can only sneak in a few puffs an hour. its so hard to compare to regular cigs since you cant really smoke them the same way. they need to cool and wick liquid every couple of drags. |

| I wasn't sure what strength to buy when I ordered our e-cigs and juice originally, so I got all 24mg. I decided it's a little high for me... so am planning to go down the next time... and hope to work down to ZERO nic at some point. I've been making my own juice with glycerin and the LorAnn flavorings that I really am enjoying... so for now I'm just adding a little of my nic juice along with my new no nic flavors and it's working out perfect! |

| I started with (and am still on) the 18mg high strength. This seems to be a perfect match for me for the dose I'm getting. I have some extra high strength menthol carts for my EVOlution which are good for a smoke break during work as the extra strength gives me that nice spike.
I plan on cutting down the nicotine level this year though. I'll try medium strength with high for a spike next.

| Most of mine has been 36mg. I like it. Course your talking to a person who occasionally would "double Barrel" 2 newports at one time with a pouch of skoal in his cheeks. I am Bi-polar. So sometimes when I hit manic It's very hard to calm my mind down. So, for me 36mg vaping almost constantly has helped alot. Funny part is sometimes I still feel like I need a "newport" and I go buy a pack. but am soooo used to the real high nicotine the newports don't calm me down anymore. Good that I don't need them, bad that they don't work when I DO need them lol. |

| This may be off topic, I know, but bec I haven't tried the ecigs yet (will get one this week for sure!), I was wondering, does the e=liquid taste and smell like the flavors? or do they just smell it? I know flavors mean taste, and scent means smell, so, I apologize if this is kind of a stupid question, however, i am very excited to buy my first e-cig. I also realize that you're not supposed to 'pool' ( is that the right term?) so, as not to taste the nic liquid. So, I'm guessing the so-called flavors are actually scents? Please educate me! Thank u! :-) |

| Newbie;
I taste most of the flavors rather than smell. My senses are coming back around since I quit smoking tobacco. Those around me can smell the vapor, especially the 'fruity' ones. It is a pleasant experience. Not at all disgusting as the cheap flavored cigars relatives would buy be for Christmas presents. Some flavors I just can't detect though. Those that I mix myself I can just add more flavor. Pick a kit, a little juice of something that sounds good to you, and go for it. Pick a strength mid to high to start. Less than 11mg and more than 24 just might not be conducive to continuing with the e-cig. I think most that start are a little over critical and are easily disillusioned. Just like when you starting smoking "why would anyone want to do this"? Even the flavors I don't really care for go into the 'pot-luck' bottle and get used.

| @rocketman...thanks for that info. yes, i plan to get the 16 mg to start and then, from there if that's too much of a kick, i'll just go lower. i like mint or menthol, possibly will also add some chocolate in that. as for fruits, i like strawberry. i have read some reviews about the juice, though, that some don't have that flavor like the jc mint some say just doesn't have that minty taste. if i wanted to get some juice, like menthol (which is what i prefer for now, as a start), where can i get that really has that minty/menthol rich flavor to it? i want to feel the coolness of it. |

| I don't do Menthol so I might not be the right one to answer but I did try something easy for a newb. I took a small 4ml sample bottle ( thesmokelessshop.com) and added about 3 DROPS !!! of peppermint extract (from the wife's spice rack. Forever COOL. EVERY PUFF.
Whatever the original flavor was I don't remember, didn't matter because the peppermint was there forever.
