| Yeah, it's like Brylcreem (if you've ever heard of that stuff)... a little dab will do you.
You can mix like 10 drops of 48 in 8-16ml of PG or VG with a few drops your best flavor from Loranns, and there you go, your own wicked juice. Ummmm |

Wow! That I like...I'm gonna order some juice soon and add peppermint oil to it. Exciting! anyway, I finally got my first 401 in the mail! Fast delivery from litecigusa. I'm concerned about one thing, though..how long does a cartridge really last? I ordered some high menthol ones. First cartridge is gone only after 20 minutes, there's no more smoke. So, I guess that's it for that cartridge. I probably only had around 10 puffs out of it??? I thought a cartridge was equivalent to 15 cigarettes?
Anyway, I'm still going to vape and get some e-liquid or even mix my own eventually. Where do you guys get your e-liquid? also, what's the difference between a pg and a vg? I know i'll eventually mix my own. are loran flavored oils really good? |

hold up on the flavors just yet.
It is my understanding that oil based flavors can clog up an atomizer. They leave a residue, or crud, that may be difficult to clean out. This crud just gets thicker and thicker. Lorann flavors come in water soluble and oil based flavors. I only try to use water soluable flavors. The peppermint extract I used could be mixed with water and not separate (a nice test).
Now to your " I thought a cartridge was equivalent to 15 cigarette".
Nice concept for marketing.
This is for all newbies out there: Buy juice now. Maybe even a few days before you buy your e-cig. It is quite possible to over heat an atomizer when it runs dry.

| First - I'm an addict!
I think I'm in the same boat as many newbies.
I'll be 50 this year, and I smoke about 1 to 1 1/2 packs of Camel Turkish Silvers a day. I'd have to guess they are stronger than Marlboro Lights but lighter than Marlboro red.
My wife smokes about 15 Marlboro Ultra Light 100's a day. We have both been smoking for 30+ years.
I'm awaiting our first e-cigs (the Yeti). Now, I'm trying to decide what juice to buy.
I've seen that there are "Marlboro like" and "Camel Like" juices available. I recall seeing one that called itself "turkish" something or other. I've also read that Johnson Creek seems to be highly regarded for taste and quality.
My plan so far has been to buy some 24 or 36Mg and some 0Mg so I can mix down to whatever seems appropriate for us (individually). Initially, I see us using it as a replacement for what we are used to; taste and strength wise.
This also begs the question of if I should get some unflavored juice so I can mix down the strength of the taste.
I would welcome any recommendations or ideas as to my "plan of attack".
Thanks for any help,
Rick |

| Rick;
You'll get lots of help here, the first 2 cents is mine.
If you and the wife are very particular on cigarette taste, finding a juice that is close may take a few tries. JC juice would be a good starting point, but don't delay. As soon as your e-cigs come in you will find you need juice ASAP. Go ahead and order a little from someone. I smoked cigars and like a strong taste most of the time (Turkish Blended e-juice works for me). But Cherry, chocolate, and things like that are fun to vape also.
I suggest one of the cigarette type flavors to start and transition from tobacco to e-cigs over a week or two rather than "cold turkey".

Rick | Well my experience may not be the norm, but after a 42 year, pack and a half/day Marlboro habit (last 10 years or so lights), I started with 18mg and vaped literally all day and still wanted an analog. Switched to 24, then 36 to beat the pangs. Now I use mostly 18 or 24mg juice spiked with a couple of drops of 48 per cart. I find that the later in the day it gets, the less I need the 48.
I can go with a good tasting 24 or 36 straight all day now without any pangs. I like RY4, Flue Cured and 555 the best.
I still like the blast the 48 gives me, but I use it sparingly now and store it in the fridge. Kinda think I might need it for hard times...
I don't necessarily consider these reccomendations, but maybe you can relate to my experience. Good luck.
No analogs for 35 days now

| Umm, excuse me, but did you say 48? I thought the strongest you could get was 36 mg. Quote:

Thanks for any help,
Rick | First of all, welcome!
Second, the Yeti is an outstanding e-cig. I think you will hardly miss smoking once you get this bad boy. It produces as much vapor as a cigarette produces smoke, no lie.
As for juice recommendations, your ideas about strengths sound good. I smoked a pack of full strength 100's every day for 20 years, and it took the 36 mg. stuff to satisfy my cravings. I'm working my way down to 24 mg. because the Yeti produces so much vapor, I can only take a couple hits from it before I have to take a break, because my head is swimming!
It's good to get some tobacco-flavored e-juice, and I found Johnson Creek's Tennessee Cured to be very good. But might I throw in a good word for the huge variety of other flavors out there? I myself have become very fond of the fruit flavors from various suppliers. Right now, grape (from electronicstix.com) and my homemade Mango are my favorites. After you try some different flavors, you might not miss that tobacco taste so much.
Just my two cents. Again, welcome to e-smoking! |

| Apparently the link I put in my last post was edited by admin, so I won't put it up again. However, 48mg juice is available out there.
Recently I have toned down my mg concentration on my 901 e-cig. 24mg juice works great for me on the mini DSE901. I think that I will be able to tone down to 18mg soon on the 901. The 901 seems harsh to me.
My M401 is a different story. For some reason (IDKW) the 401 allows me to vape 36mg straight, even can drip a couple drops of 48 on the 401. Wicked, tasty stuff. A little dizzy jolt at times, but nothing I can't handle. Kinda making my 401 my fave ATM.

| Favorite flavors?
Oh my! I really like Coffee, RY-4, Creme, and Strawberry.
I yearn for a really fruity flavor, like orange with vitamin c and low nicotine.
I love the idea of the vitamin smoke. There's a Ginsing with A,B,C, and E and no nicotine that's really tasty.
I'd like to see Champange! Vape it up on NYE!
Every Chocolate I've tried has been totally disappointing.
I may be tossing a recent batch of resell Chocolate that tastes like nothing.
Gonna go drip a little Tea flavor medium on my pink 901 now!

| I just got in my mailbox a care package I've been waiting on from Hong Kong. 26mg all of it cause that the strongest they had. A decent price so I got 5 flavors and they are 50ml bottles. Anyway, I recommend strawberry, "who'da thunk" it but this stuff is great! I can feel a nic headache coming on because I have to try all 5 flavors before bedtime.....just the way it is. Now I'm going to look for that 48mg stuff you all are talking about. |

Nebraska:
could you calculate the total, as delivered mg of nicotine per dollar spent?
strength (24) times total volume in ml (250) divided by total cost including shipping.
mg/$

| Sure Rocket, 52 cents the way I figure. Actually the strength is 26 not 24, the 1st time I've seen 26 (between you and me I paid $125 total) |

| Ya know Rocket, I thought I was buying it from Nevada and the ad said "we are never out of stock". After almost two weeks after I was told it was sent I e-mailed them and was told it was sent from CHINA. I would have ordered directly from China myself if I knew I was just paying a middle man to do it for me. Honestly I think the ad was very decieving and I won't order from that place again but I have nothing against China and like I said, if I knew thats what was happening I would have ordered from overseas myself and saved quite a bit of money I'm sure. I'm just kinda stocking up is why I got that amount and I think we all should. But I'll warn you, I haven't be able to put this strawberry juice down so I don't see it lasting very long. |

| Nebraska:
I like the Strawberry (and the Watermelon, and Grape, and Cherry) Loranns flavors. 5% per volume is PLENTY for the Loranns. Someone called my Fruit Mix Tootie Fruity once.
52mg/$ is OK. Small orders from anywhere can run as low as 30mg/$. You gotta really shop to get up to 70mg/$. Stock is what it's all about right now. I won't tell you how much I have in the fridge right now and more in the mail (don't want the FDA SWAT Team at MY door), or how much ammo I have either.
I think they are watching us

I need more tobacco flavors. Too many custom flavors! |

| I normally smoke the 18mg too. I like getting the 36mg flavored and mix it with PG just to make it go further. If I ever decide to go further down in nic I'll probably go to 9mg because it's easier math than 11. I got some Chinese stuff recently too in 26mg and rather than do the math and measuring I'm just using it straight. One of the flavors I got is what the Chinese call "USA MIX". and I swear it tastes exactly like marlboro reds. Now I've got some "cartridge squeezins" from all the 1/2 used fillers and it is every flavor I've ever had all together. Actually it isn't bad but I have no idea what to call it. If you haven't got one already I highly suggest getting a large hypo syringe to squeeze out the unused juice and reuse it. It's too expensive not to. |

| Well esmokelady, you said you want more tobacco flavors and this USA stuff amazingly tastes like my ole marlboro reds. If you think you might try it say so and I'll let you know where NOT to get it. I don't want to say anything bad about anyone selling this product but what happened to me is I ordered from someone with an ad that said "we are never out of stock" but what happened is I sent them my money then they just ordered my order from China. I had to go to the post office and sign my life away to get something from overseas and all that balony. If I knew that was the case I would have ordered from China myself and gotten a much better deal. Oh well, live and learn. |

| Label a bottle "Pot Luck"
anything from 18 to 36 goes in it.
any flavor.
ends up tasting like some of them, some of the time,
none of them most of the time.
