I would have to start off with BLU, worst company ive ever had to deal with so far. Crappy product, lousy shipping time, and ZERO customer service! So that is one company I would DEFINITELY stay away from. Anyone else have any companies that were this bad?!?

Stay away from Tony @ 'bestesmoking.com'. They ran away with over 800$ of my money.

If a regular citizen had taken $800 from somebody, they'd be arrested, serve time, have to pay back the $800 and get aa couple of years probation.
You could always go with omerta, though.

My wife and I were certainly infuriated with the result we experienced with Tony @ bestesmoking.com. IT was outright underhanded and shady how he deceived us and avoided our multiple attempts to contact him.

Please excuse my ignorance...but, I am not familiar with 'omerta' ? Is that some form of retaliation?

Did Tony make no attempt to rectify the problem? If he did not, I think this goes beyond shady.

Tony did not attempt to rectify the problem.

Once he received my email stating that I did not receive all the items ordered, he immediately cut communication.
Multiple emails were sent and multiple phone call attempts were made.
Every communication sent from me was in a professional and friendly manner, but still, I was brushed off and ignored.

If he would have atleast given me a reason why my items were not sent, I would not be so infuriated.... Instead, he simply ran off with the money.

He is a very untrust-worthy individual...

couple things you can do...call your bank and let them know, if you paid by debt card, if paid by credit card, call your credit card and dispute it.
Call the Better Business Buearau in that state he does business in. They might be able to contact him and help get you your money back.
Try that first...i will try and find other ways for you to get your money back.

I will not deal with a company that runs a website that does not advertise their prices.

The only time I would ever consider doing that if I was dealing with a manufacturer, planning a large purchase, and wanted to negotiate a special price.

I paid via cash via a western union money order... It *seems* that is generally the way the majority of the Chinese suppliers work...It has always been scary for me to use the 'Money Order' method.. Too many Scams... but, it was my first experience and transaction that I had with a Chinese supplier.

I eventually found a Chinese supplier that accepts paypal and is really honest and helpful....

I appreciate the ideas justall5. They are indeed some good methods on getting your money back as well as possible retribution.

The incident occurred about 2-3 months ago, so I basically chalked it up as a 'loss' already. It was definitely a lesson learned.

I just hope nobody else falls victim to Tony at 'bestesmoking@hotmail.com'...lol

i just read something in a business journal of mine...it had to do with this problem.
There is a website that allows you to buy from a supplier from China and they help you...when you get your product and your happy they release the money to them. I havent done anything with them yet as i am still searching on which company i want to do business with. Either US or over seas. Here is their website...check it out and let me know what you find out.

Or maybe a site that imposes additional requirements via e-mail AFTER you have completed the checkout process.

Being asked to provide more than "NORMAL" information just might be

PHISHING

The Rocket

To give you an idea how bold some hackers can be (this does not apply to any e-cig companies, just something I was alerted to on my government computer), do a yahoo search for the following phase

Please upload a clear copy of your passport

you would not believe the number of hits. DO NOT go to any of these sites, just read the search results, then leave.

Forum members, please don't forget about this thread.

It is very important to keep others updated on bad experiences.
I would suggest that negative comments be evaluated thoroughly before posting.

I very seldom post anything negative, and if it turns out to be in error I ALWAYS post a followup.

And please don't just complain about atomizer failures, they fail, fact of life. Contact your seller, expect about a month warranty, and be ready to pay return shipping. If we don't want these guys ripping us off don't try and rip them off.

I am curently dealing with Absolutely E-Cigs
My son in law ordered from them without a problem, got his stuff within 7 days. My first order with them was on July 5th. I sent them an email on Aug 3rd after I had yet to receive my products (about $110). They promptly replied and I received my order on the 7th of August.

Everything good so far right? Prompt customer service, professional, courteous.

I have since placed another order with them on the 4th of September. Again, I have yet to get my order. They sent me a tracking number but it says it was delivered to some city in China!!

The manufacturer is in China, and they send a China EMS tracking number. I have faith that I will get my order, however this will be the LAST order I place with them....too much hassle.

Anyone recommend a supplier of the pen style 401 and 402's?

UPDATE: Got an email from the company this morning. Turns out there was a typhoon in their region, cause for the delay. Plus the tracking number is only good while package in in China. It is now with the USPS, should get it this week. Still going to use a different supplier for future e-cig orders, Vapor Barn looks pretty good.

I had a problem with my single purchase from Janty Usa:

-Ordered and paid via paypal immediately. Heard nary a word from them.

-After a week I emailed numerous times to all of their addresses. No reply.

-Emailed again after two weeks had passed. No reply.

-Initiated a paypal complaint/resolution. Got an IMMEDIATE reply!

-Rolled my eyes as I read the list of excuses: So and so was on vacation, such and such must have "missed" my emails because they were SO busy, and "it wasn't their fault" because their website did not indicate (to me) that one of the items I ordered was out of stock.

It still took them 2-3 days to pack and ship my order. They did, however, throw in a 10ml of juice for my trouble and order was received as ordered.

Received my tracking number about a week after my order was delivered.

Never again.

Could I suggest we keep this thread active. If you have a really bad experience, one that you just can't get resolved, no matter how hard you have tried (at least try before posting), post it here. If it turns out OK post a follow up. Watch the negative comments, but help out your fellow vapers.
Don't post anything you could be held liable for or get you kicked off the forum.
