| Interesting thing happened to me today.
Went down to city hall to pay a speeding ticket. Went to the court house first, before realizing I didn't need to be there and was in the wrong place. As i was going into the parking lot, I got pulled over by a cop. Not knowing that i did anything wrong, I played it cool (not realizing that my e-cig kit is open in the passengers seat in plain view).
Before the cop came up to the window, I tried to throw a jacket into the front seat (STUPID MOVE! Now he thinks i am hiding something bad. Really i just wanted to save the hassle of explaining it all). He immediately told me to step out of the car, put cuffs on me and sat me on the curb. He never asked once what it was I think he already knew what it was. I sat there for 2 hours while they tried to figure out what it was...
Keep in mind, I had 2 ziplock baggies with my poly squares (soaked in liquid), 2 syringes, a bottle of e-liquid from totally wicked with label taken off (so i could see much remained), 4; 3.7mL bottles with different flavored juice, 2 atomizers and 2 batteries. Doesn't look good.
Finally, after sitting there for 1,000hrs, up comes a cop holding a DES 901 (Not mine!) and takes a puff. He says, "Fortunately for you, I'm an e-smoker too, no one else knew what the hell that was. We are going to let you go, however, we have to confiscate the syringe. Next time... Don't have it out for the world to see. Especially us. With all these meth lab bust's going on here we get a little antsy."
The other cops (non-smokers) wanted to trash it when they found that i was getting a nicotine fix from it! What a******'s!
I can replace the syringe easy. I'm just glad they didn't take my rig!
I thought we could share our experiences about how people are reacting to you when they see it; when they see you vape; when you show it off.

| I think Totally Wicked was sending a "this is an e-cig" card with orders in the past to help explain it's not "smoking" when going into a pub or diner. A few cards with your gear (for advertising your favorite supplier) would be a good think to keep with you. Needles matches and spoons needs to be left at home
Thanks for the heads up, glad you didn't lose your stuff. I carry several 4ml bottles with me also, guess I'll have to make sure they're labeled somehow. Those guys probably would have called the bomb squad if you had a ScrewDriver with you. That's a scary looking vaporizer. |

| LOL. They probably would have! I think I heard one of them talking about getting the drug dogs or something.
I agree too, i should have left the syringe at home. That was just really stupid! |

| Yeah, I can understand why Tulsa cops would be freaked out...I'm 40 miles north in Bartlesville, so I imagine I would get a very similar reaction. Luckily I don't have any syringes. lol, that's a funny story, sucks though that it took so long. |

| Unfortunately it is way too common for cops to react first and think second. I am glad they didn't take your cig, but it would almost be worth it to have the city pay for a new one. |

| It's unfortunate we live in a society that requires them to think like that! I gotta say thanks for sharing that story. Although it's hysterical to read about it now, it must have been a bit "scary" and frustrating at the time. Well, good lesson learned for us all! |

I thought for sure I would be calling my wife and job to let them know that i would home for a while, till i could get it all sorted out anyway.

| I work with a bunch of serious geeks and even though they don't smoke their response was "Lets take this apart and see how can we make it better!"
Almost everyone I talk to is curious about it and interested in purchasing it for someone they know or themselves. I find that I spend a lot of time demonstrating how it works.

| Thats funny ladybug0570. There have been 3 guys at work that want to buy one of these things and have never smoked before. I will say that is kind of a negative that it attracts non-smoker's, however, on the other hand, they did say that they would get the non-nicotine.
I know a guy at work that we call "Macgyver". He is a maintenance man that can put anything together. If we are waiting for repair parts, he can get it started regardless. He had one look at this e-cig and is now itching to help me build some mods for it, just for fun.

| Those are the kind of friends to have! My guys work on engine management systems, Fast cars and computer geeks. I would be afraid to use what they would come up with! LOL |

| I went to my Dr today for a followup on something. While I was there I showed him my e-cig and he seemed very interested. I actually vaped in my Dr office LOL!!! I had a card from e-cigarette-usa with me and give it to him. Then while I was at the pharmacy I asked if they have any small bottles I could use for mixing nic juice. I showed him my e-cig then........I vaped in the pharmacy in front of the pharmacist!!!! I give him a card too. I had to call Al at e-cig-usa and ask him to send more cards. My Dr and pharmacist were both interested and planned on checking them out online and neither of them smoke they just know how helplessly hooked I am (was) on real cigs and were so impressed I've practically quit that they want to learn more to possibly tell other patients. Oh well I just thought this was so cool I had to tell somebody. |

| My boss is all for it. He said "you can smoke up here now" (in my office). He also said he could see it improving productivity as I didn't have to run outside 6-7 times a day and take a smoke break any longer. One other guy here already bought one, and I've had a few ask for information about it for others they know as well as getting general praise for quitting smoking because of it.
I was at a bar/diner my wife and I frequent and many people wanted to know about it; where I got it, how does it work, how much, etc...
The general demeanor from others is positive.

| I've been vaping all day long at work (I'm working again after a 60 day layoff) and it's soooo cool. My boss has noticed I don't leave my desk near as often too. The type of work I do it is good to just sit back and take a couple puffs and think about it sometimes. I called Al in Florida from e-cigarette-usa and asked him to send me more of his cards because I give a couple out at work and now some are asking if I have more. By the way, Al said he'd send a few free cigar cartridges along with his business cards for helping his business out and ya can't beat that! Gosh, when is the last time any of us has heard anything positive about puffing of any kind? |

| man, i have been hold by a cop last week, same situation, but i was puffing a black 084.
In my country there are blitz (idk the word in english for it), that is two or more cop cars holding the transit and inspecting almost all cars.
This is a non-knowledge people contry, and cops are included. They didn't realized what was that until i puff some. Well, it was a big conversation until they free me out, alot of warnings but i explained that e-cigs are not outlaw (is outlaw SELL it here). Anyways, one of them was a smoker and gave me his number to sell him a kit when my next shipment arrives |
