| normal 901 attys and 808D-1 cartos have "about the same resistance".
go for it.

My big complaint about cartos is they all taste like corn syrup to me, no matter what I fill them with. But they last a week or two, and at $1.75 each, that's not much. Blowing a $9 atty in a day or two is still cheaper than smoking, but that works to ~$26 a week. Still cheap, but I can't just walk into a store and buy an atty.
Others here and elsewhere tell me they get up to 2 months per atty!

| some days i get the same taste in my mouth with carts. but if i can dodge a pack or two of analogs with one cartomizer i'm happy. i think my next endevor will be a big battery mod, then maybe a 510. but who knows i might stumble upon a catomizer that gives me excellent air flow and are more realiable. i just ordered carts from mike a Lecig and i'll try both his 808d-1's and the D-1's. hopefully i fall in love with one. i might try a 901 atty on my 808d and see how that goes too. |

| Chris a 901 atty usually works great on a 808d-1 battery...BUT a carto on a 901 batt can't get any air. Rocket has a thread somewhere that shows a breather hole drilled from the top, inside of the battery negative out thru the threads at about a 45deg angle, then the cartos will work with that connector, but each batt must be modified to use the cartos. Several venders have 901>808D-1 adaptors if you don't want to do the drill mod. The mod or adaptor applies to 901 pass throughs as well. bikes |

| thanks for the info Bikes. i might just end up getting a 3.7 mod and buying a 510 to 901 adapter so i can try the drip method with the 510 atty, and if i dont like it i can just screw my carts on it like ol' Rocket does. does anyone drip? and if so what attys seem to work better for dripping, 510's or 901's? if the 901 is better maybe i could get a mod thats made for a 901 and not worry about the adapter.

| i just got my order from Mike at Lecig. I ordered Saturday and they were here Monday! the blank KR808D-1 carts i ordered are really nice, so much better than the ones i had. first off the soft caps are alot easier to use, only one cap to worry about. looking inside you can see that instead of the steel wires some have, i'm getting a copper wire (more conductive), and the batting material inside is nice and tight with a double wrap in the center instead of a half ass cone for the center that will deform and change shape. I'm really impressed with these carts, and the D1 models i got work very well on my kanger batterys too!! thanks mike. |
