A little update on my week 12 prize

One if the 3 packs of cartomizers I picked were these:

LeCig Dual Coil Cartomizers 3XL

Most of my prize was given away but I kept one or two of each pack for ME !

I've been vaping for about a week on the Clear 3XL in the photo. About 3 days into it I dropped the carto and mod and the mod won (well, the floor actually won). Cracked the plastic. Pushed it back on, went a day and dropped again. Slid the plastic off, flipped it over, kept gong

Well, the mod just rolled off the table and I broke a heater wire

What is surprising is the heaters are wrapped better than most I have opened and just a little scorching and no crud on the heaters. Pretty clean for a week of vaping (probably about 30 or more ml of Wizard Labs Juice and Flavors).

Other than the expected whoops, I dropped it, plastic issue, yes.
The mod I use is pretty heavy and the plastic doesn't have a chance if it hits the floor.

I've only used them of big battery 3.7 volt mods so I can't say how they would work on smaller e-cigs but they vape great. Of the two blankets around the heaters, the TOP one got the most abuse (from vaping under half full) but that seems normal for dual coils, I guess. Others without the little blankets would melt holes in the filler.

You would have to ask Mike about the source, but they look like Smok Tec.

The other Dual Coils always seemed to melt the filler and you could taste it after a while. I took a couple of 'Honkers' apart and it was difficult to tell how they were put together. They vaped fine until the first heater opened, then sort of weak with just one coil going.

Im not a big fan of the honkers..I like the draw to be hotter and the distance seems too far away for my personal preference...the smoke tech tanks and the 2XL cartos do it better for me..
That whole X designation is confusing as heck any way..normal like a boge starts at XL. The XXL is the same diameter but longer like what everybody refers to as a DCC that fits in tanks even though they do come in an XL size also that are too short for their tanks.
The XXXL are slightly larger diameter and longer with the whistle tips (in steel anyway) from what Ive seen. So this is a clear version of that size then?

Here is a XXXL clear next to a XXXL black.

The ID of the clear one is just a little larger than the metal one. You can also see a slight diameter difference in the tips. Even though I 'first fill' with a syringe, I don't know how much they hold. I just fill

Maybe that's why I like them so much. I like a cooler draw. What I've noticed with the honkers is that I don't get as much flavor as with the XL DCCs.
