| Has anyone tried the VP batteries from dietsmokes.com? I was thinking of getting one of the VPs but the only video I recall finding was from Parked (who runs the site). I don't discredit his judgment, but I most people in his position will back their product (if only to improve sales). I'd prefer to hear from un-/less-biased consumers.

| Not sure..but I think it's pretty similar to the laser mod that Issac sells on his new site.
As for Dietsmokes...I've never bought a single item from them simply because of Parked's antics in his pre-supplier/earlier days when he was doing review after review and dissing products he didn't have on hand to sell while talking up the products he did plan to sell as a supplier.

I'm in the wrong business!
The housing is $1-4, they atty, since he buys them wholesale is about $4, and the tip about $0.75 wholesale. You need a battery connector for $2. That's $9 total.
I was looking into one of these but since it only holds a AAA battery, which at most will give you 900maH, I determined it was too small. It looks good, but for $12 and about 30 minutes I could make one myself!
900maH will give you ~4x a standard 510 battery, or about 3 hours.

| Does anyone sell a flashlight mod though for real cheap? Cheapest I've seen is around $50-$60.

I just sold a brand new black one, that I figured was worth the $25 mentioned above, but by the time I add in an atomiser, 4 or 6 non-rechargables to get started with, all the inserts for different voltages/batteries and tack on priority shipping, it's was $45.
BTW...I meant laser mod, not flashlight mod in my original reply...sorry

Especially if you're time impaired and/or don't understand electricity. For me this stuff is extremely simple, so simple that I lose sight of the fact a lot of people know a lot of other things and not Ohm's Law! Or haven't been taking things apart since they were 3 years old, especially flashlights. My Mom told me she had to have 3 flashlights minimum in the house...two where I could get to them, and then another one or two hidden. Figured I was happy with the two available for me to take apart!

| Well the $25 is moot now as that was the "introductory price".
Still reasonable at $35 though. |

Not one from my 'batch' ) and a tip!!!
I might even throw in a protected battery!
