I thought about going, but not sure if I could get out of my work schedule. It would be about a 6-7 hour drive by myself...ugh. Is there even any rooms left nearby?

About 7 hrs for me as well. Long hike for something that may be just a few locals and vendors. Figured if a bunch of people responded it would be worth looking into. Just you and me so far, so expect with it being a small metro area, the turnout would be mostly local. There was one in Philadelphia in June that I couldn't make. 2nd annual event, major metro area, ended up with 25 vendors and about 200 paid attendees. Early days for this pursuit. If you hear of anything in Washington or NY city, let me know. Then it's a straight easy train trip.

From what I've been hearing lately is that several of the surrounding hotels are now sold-out to VaporCon attendees.

I'm still thinking about going but it will definitely be last minute if I get to go. I don't have a room, but there's been some talk that there is some folks that will offer a spot on their hotel room floor for some loners that show up last minute (for a small fee), which is really cool.

Hell, I'd sleep in my truck for that matter, if someone would just let me use the shower once a day

I blew off the one in Philadelphia, I think it was last April. Had just started vaping and hadn't found this site yet. Sorry I did now. Supposed to be one next year. Haven't seen much info on here and I don't think I can justify the time/travel for what is not a big event. Thanks for posting. Liked your pictures from the service. Shower with a friend and save water. (funny, no one ever says that anymore)
