As a newbie, I have only been vaping about a month and been trying to learn what liquid I like and not like. So the last few weeks been ordering and trying some liquids and found some I like and some I didn't like . I am using the metal CE2's and PigCig from LeCig.

1. Virgin Vapor

a) Eco Velvet Kona Milshake - I actually ordered this in error as there are 2 versions one is Ecopure based and the other is the regular Organic liquid. Any ways I tried it and it is a very good liquid. I like the vapor produced very thick because its 100% VG. TH is minimal as I ordered 12 mg nic. Flavor, now were talking its actually like drinking a Kona coffee milkshake! The vapor wraps around your tounge and imparts the thick luscious taste of a coffee milkshake. I love this juice! Annette at VV makes some incredible liquids.

b) Organic Vanilla Peach Swirl - great tasting liquid! If you like peach vanilla ice cream this is it! Vapor is thick again coz it is 100% VG, minimal TH due to the nic level I chose at 12mg. But flavor is awesome. It feels and tastes like ice cream vanilla with heavy peach flavor at the tip of your tounge. You might chain vape this liquid as you keep running after the peach aftertaste.

c) Organic Cherry Vanilla Swirl - this liquid is good as well as it imparts the cherry flavor very well in contrast to the luscious smoothness of the peach or kona liquids. As usual the vapor is excellent as it is 100% VG, TH is a little stronger than the other two I tried at the same nic level 12mg. It could be caused by the cherry flavoring.

The liquids come in dropper glass bottles (amber and blue) and the liquid itself is not very thick. The liquids are priced a little higher than others VV has a regular Organic line @ .59/ml and Ecopure at @ .83/ml. I actually ordered the wrong Ecopure Velvet Kona Coffee Milkshake vs the Organic Kona coffee Milkshake.

2. Johnson Creek Red Oak line. I got the sampler pack and the only two that I liked are the Tennessee Cured and Domestic.

a) Tennessee Cured- good vapor and strong TH for me at 18mg. Flavors are good and kinda grew on me. At first I find that the tobacco flavor was very light but has a cholatey flavor at the end. The longer I vaped it the more I liked it.

b) Domestic- vapor is fantastic and good TH. Flavor is well balanced just enough sweetness and tobacco. I liked this more than the Tennessee Cured.

The other JC juices I didn't care for much, the Marcado had too much clove the first time I vaped and made me cough. The Valencia was ok, but nothing to write home about. The Swiss Dark was ok, good vapor but the flavor was lighter than I expected.

3. LeLiquid 555 and Vapriot Apple

a) Vapriot apple- man just like munching on a ripe red apple. Nice apple flavor and sweetness the only thing lacking is the crunch! Good vapor, light TH as I orderd only the 11mg nic level. This liquid is a great change of pace from the thick lusciousness of the VV liquids.

b) Leliquid 555 - I like the flavor, slight tobacco and sweet at the end. Being 100% PG vapor is minimal compared to others. TH is minimal as well as the nic level I ordered is quite low at 12mg. I probably will mix this with some other juice I ordered.

4. AVE Boba's Bounty

I love AVE's Boba's Bounty! Very good vapor, lots of thick yummy vapor! TH is perfect for me at the 12mg nic level. Flavor, man the flavor is scrumptious. I can't put my finger on it but seems like maple syrup, and waffles today, tomorrow maybe somethig else! This liquid would probably be my all day vape! Ben at AVE is awesome, I hope everything works out for them and they get back 100%.

5. HitLiquid RY4

I wasn't sure what to expect on this juice as I just wanted to try it at $6. Vapor was good and thick but no throat hit as I ordered the low nic level. Flavor was very light on the tobacco and a hint of sweetness. I will probably mix the 555 PG with this and see how it vapes.

6. Ikenvape Gold RY4 VG

Well all I can say I didn't like it at all because I can't seem to get any flavor. Its very very light flavor with a sweet aftertaste. I might try their PG/VG mixed version down the line.

So there you have it just a newbies opinion on some liquids I tried. I do have on order from VaporStation Tampa and San Francisco.

Nice review.. thanks bunches. I really like hit liquids RY4, just mixed some of her chocolate with it today and that is pretty darn good. Think it will replace the swiss bliss I'm not getting anymore. Boba's is also very good. Their gorilla juice is good as well, but to me, very similar to the Boba's.

Thanks RY4! Probably I am comparing the HL's RY4 to some very tasty flavorful desert juices and expecting the same! I am letting HL's RY4 steep for now and will try again in a week. I am still looking for a well balanced and smooth tobacco flavor with nuttiness and a hint of sweet aftertaste. I can't wait for the Vaporstations Tampa and San Francisco to arrive which I expect on Saturday or Monday. I will review them after I vape them for a while. From what I read these two have good tobacco flavor. Have you tried either? If you have I would like to know what your opinion is.

Boba's are pretty good all day vape but pretty darn hard to order due to Ben's situation. Hopefully everything goes well with AVE and they be able to get back to 100% production.

I'll surely let you guys know about the Vapor Station liquids. I've read alot of good things about VS juices enough to try!

Halo has lots of good reviews especially Tribecca and Torque 56, but I haven't tried them personally. I'll probably give them a shot if I don't like any of the VS juices.

Thanks Blue. I figured since been trying different juices although subjective insights should help somewhat.

I use Torque 56 daily. Its a very smooth vape. I used a light analog the last 15 years I smoked and I was worried that I wouldn't find anything close in flavor to my analog brand. Its better! lol So much smoother than what I was using.
Its about Tobacco with a mild nutty flavor. At least to my palette it tastes like that. Again, its very smooth, nothing harsh. I'm vaping it at 18mg

Good to know. I am looking for smooth tobacco flavor most of all, a hint of sweetness is ok but not necessary.

Hello all, just wanted to update on the VS Tampa and San Francisco juices review:

I ordered both juices 15ml bottles with 10 mg/ml nic level. Ordered on 12/28/11 and received on 1/3/12, not bad with USPS shipping comming from NH and with the holidays. I have been vaping these juices for a couple of days now.

Anyways here is my take on these 2 juices:

1. VS Tampa - Flavor is definitely tobacco based. You can tell on both inhale and exhale. Good balanced nuttiness and saltiness with a hint of cocoa sweetness on the tounge on inhale. Lighter on the exhale with a good tobacco finish. TH is light sometimes a little scratchy, maybe because of the tobacco base. Vapor is very good for a pg/vg mix. Aroma is a nice light tobacco.

2. VS San Francisco - Flavor is very similar to Tampa but lighter on the tobacco. A little more nuttier and sweeter than Tampa. On exhale you can tell the tobacco flavor with some cocoa sweetness. TH is light and smooth. Vapor again is very good for a mix, and the aroma is very similar to the Tampa.

Overall I am liking both these juices very much. Seems to be very good all day vapers. Flavors are excellent and not overpowering. I looked at the ingredients and both have the same but most likely with different levels.

If you like tobacco flavors these two juices are a must try, I find them with better flavor than LeCig 555, Ikenvape Gold RY4 VG and the HL RY4. However, they are different than BB Bounty which is in a league of its own. Pricewise they are excellent as well @ $.46/ml.

Next up for review Halo Torque56 and Tribecca.

Ok just a short update about the Halo E Liquids for those interested:

1. Halo Torque 56 - Tried this and at first I liked it however, the longer I vaped it the sandalwood flavor gets overwhelming. It has very good vapor and TH. Flavorwise, sweet with slight tobacco and heavy sandalwood flavor.

2. Halo Tribecca - flavor is well balanced sweet, slightly nutty tobacco but with a touch of the sandalwood flavor. I like this more than the T56. Vapor is excellent as well as TH.

The Halo liquids are both good, but seems that their base has the sandalwood flavor.

Out of all these juices I kinda narrowed down to what I liked the most and would be re-ordering:

1. Vapor Station Frisco - everyday vape
2. AVE Boba's Bounty - when I want a change of pace with good vapor and TH.
3. Virgin Vapor - for my sweet tooth, alternating Kona Milkshake, Peach Vanilla Swirl and Blackberry Vanilla Swirl.

Hope you guys find this helpful on what to try.

Hey tibib
Great reviews, but I have a question, when u are talking about ice cream or shake flavors, are any of them cool? I mean do any of them give a cooling affect or how do they taste like ice cream?

Just curious, keep up the good work
Thanks

It's ok Dawn, you can revive threads if you have questions about the subject matter.

I know taste is subjective, but I was surprised tibob got a sandalwood flavor from the T56 I thought it had an Anise or Black Licorice type flavor to it. Taste is a funny thing

Thanks Pit.

dawn, the VV milkshake flavors are not icy or cool. they do taste like milkshakes that impart a vanilla creamy flavor and texture when vaped! its like drinking a milkshake. VV although pricey, makes very good milkshake flavors.

i got to say I love Bobas too but after vaping over 30mil I think my tongue gets too accustomed to the taste and I dont get that first time BANG like I use to. Did get a hold of his Raf a licous and it is very good but has that same tobacco taste he uses for BB.

Got a 10mil sample of Ry4 V2 from Mom & Pops Vapor Shop and wow its very good. I would say it is very close to BWB Ry4 just a little sweet and little less tobacco than BWB.

Backwoods is very good for tobacco flavors. I got a bottle of the RY4 and after a couple of week steeping this stuff is golden. You can see why it was so wanted. I also got the Honey Cured Virginia but Im just not digging it as much. The Malty Toffee is pretty damn delicious though for being mostly VG.

Nice ToweKnee, I agree BB gets you numb. To me after awhile its becomes meh. I did miss ordering Raf and now its gone!

Glad to hear your liking M&P RY4, might give that one a try. I did order Pachela's 5 layer from them and I get a soapy aftertaste from it.

I love BWB RY4 because the sweetness is just right and I get a hint of spiceness on exhale. As you said it's perfect after a couple of weeks steeping.

You might want to try the GJ4 from Goodejuice, its great right out of the mail!

I LOVE reviving (or others reviving) old threads!

So has anyone tried the RY4 from Joye?
I'm not into tobacco flavors, but I did see a mall kiosk, and sampled a few versions on Sunday.
Unfortunately, way overpriced, and everything taste like nasty alcohol... It happened to me with a lot of liquids before, so I wasn't surprised.

I did not have that alcohol taste with the Joye DMint I tried when first starting- Very smooth, great Vapor!
So I bought 3 bottles of this (RY4 JOYE) from Greg's going out of business sale...
But it's only 12mg strength, so I'm going to hit it with Mr. Wiz's 48 Nic (Currently under lock n key!) and bump it to around 24nic...
What do you think I should expect? Crossing my fingers!

Again, anyone tried the JOYE RY4?
