| I have canceled all outstanding orders and I am looking at another model because my Volcano is 12 hours old and I have one bad battery and a bad PCC, so to me that is only a sign of things to come. I am very interested in the Totally Wicked website I like the selection that they have. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with them? I was also looking for personal experience with either model. I know that it depends on the person and all that, but after watching all the "great" youtube videos on the Blu and Volcano I would really like word of mouth.
Just a side note Volcano is a great company with great customer service if they could find a product the meets the quality of there customer service the sky would be the limit. |

| The 510 connectors I used in some of my MODS came from my TW 510 batteries.
LATE EDIT TO THIS POST:
This comment should not be construed to be a negative reference to
Totally Wicked. I have used connectors from failed batteries from several suppliers in my MODS

| I'm a regular on the TW forum and have used them a lot (but by means exclusively).
Also, I'm in the UK so use their UK side.
I've never had any problem with anything I've bought from them, and have found deliver and service fine. As a Screwdriver user, I can't comment on their 510/901 batteries, but have bought multipacks of 901, 510 and 801 atomisers from them which have been fine, as have all the carts I've had from them.

| Professor,
I agree with respect to service provided by TW. They are top notch.
The U.S. prices, even though a 'brand name', are a little high relative to some others.
No where close to any seller I would classify as a 'rip-off' artist, but still high $.
I have always had issues with batteries. I vape a-lot, like really a-lot, and this must be hard on the small Li-ion batteries in standard e-cigs (mega batteries included).
I will concede that most component failures I have experienced, no matter which model, have been, to the most part, my fault. Learning curve, accidental, mostly my fault. I get reasonable life from Joye attys from TW, as well as 'clone' attys.
5 manual 510 batteries and 5 Auto-Mega batteries ordered from 'you-know-who' became organ donors for my Mods
Did I get my monies worth? Yes, they lasted longer than the equivalent value in analogs. That is currently my evaluation criteria for e-cig component cost.
If I can get by on $1 a day for hardware, and $1 a day for juice (cut/diluted) then I'm satisfied. Way less than I spent on anologs, even before the tax hike. That's a lot easier with a big battery MOD than replacing litlle batteries all the time, even a relatively expensive mod, but even easier to do with DIY homebrew hardware.
(funny how I'll spent more on e-cigs, just to prove they are cheaper than analogs )
Rock

| I just got my two complete Joye 510s with 5 mixed strength carts and wall charger fro $38.99 from Nicotine Nirvana - Joye 510 Electronic Cigarettes, E-Cigs, E-Liquid, E-Juice & Accessories. my wife and I have been using them both since yesterday at about noon haven't had any trouble at all. As far as I know they are genuine Joye 510s at least that's what the charger says. I talked to the vendor a few times on the phone, I let him know that I was kinda worried that he was going to sell me one of the 510 knock-offs since his price was so cheap. He reassured me that they are the real deal and so far I don't have any reason to believe that they aren't true Joye 510s. The only way that I know to tell is to check the back of the charger and it says Model: JOYE510 on the back. The attys get a little warm, but isn't that what they are made for? I've still got a pack of Pall Mall 100s hanging around just in case, but ever since I've started using my Joye 510 I haven't even looked at em. I know it's only been 24 hours but i've already saved about $18. I didn't have to make my daily run to the store to get my two packs that I would normally smoke everyday or the one pack that my wife would smoke. So the way I see it, if we can keep it up for four days our starter kit and juice is paid for. I've got a few more starter kits coming in because at $38.99 for 2 attys, 2 manual batts. wall charger and 5 carts I'm getting all the spare parts i'll need for a while, sure I'll have a few extra chargers but i'm sure they go out eventually too. It works out to be about $8 per piece and the carts are just a bonus. Nicotine Nirvana - Joye 510 Electronic Cigarettes, E-Cigs, E-Liquid, E-Juice & Accessories also sells parts at cheap prices too His site is worth checking out IMO. Cheapest starter kits I've seen but he says he's not going to be that cheap forever he told me probably until the end of this month because this is his grand opening special. For me it just seemed too good to pass up. |

| During TW's last 30% off sell I got some mega batteries and a 5-pack of 510 attys. I can't say enough good things about the batteries but I thought I was doing something wrong with the attys because they leak like (how do you spell seive, sive, seave?) they really leaked. In another forum several people said their's leaked too. I've just been using them at home with the PTB cart mod because two drops when dripping they will leak. Two even died in less than a week and I normally have much more longevity with attys than.......should I say Hach? I'll probably get more batteries from TW but I'll get cheaper attys elsewhere that don't leak.

I keep burning them up seemingly worse than anyone.
I seem to be having the best luck with TW's Titan 510 (regular size) and another non-OEM atomizer...I'm afraid to say because tomorrow is day 6, the furthest I have gotten with an atomizer...

| Another big question is... is there any difference in models depending on what website you get it from or is it just a different logo???? |

| Yup, there is a difference. Mechanical construction between manufacturers can be seen in the metal Sponge(?) bridge, and in electrical resistance. There are some members that have researched the differences, and have opinions ass to which is better. I have used several but get mixed up as to which ones I think are better. They all seem to do pretty well for me.
I have not tried the mega atty, or high voltage attys. But I have tried Joye, SLB, clones, and clones of clones
The more expensive ones are obviously the better ones.

| There are lots of variations in how the blessed things look as well - some have big gold bands, some don't. I've used Joye (TW's are Joye I understand), and SLB - some say the BE ones are good too.
Here is a "wide band" TW 510 fitted to my SD:

But guess what?! I bought a 510 5-pack of batteries from TW on 12/4/09 and 2 that actually were not used much (Old Man uses his pass-thru mostly) died on the same day. They have the band and the letters MP on them plus the devil face. I thought that was odd but because all this stuff is made in China, I'm not surprised. Because I got them at the discount price...can't get a replacement.

| Well I order the Joye 501 from cignot.com with the PCC, no box for 65.00. Seems like a pretty good deal compared to alot of the other places I checked out. |

I ordered on a Thursday afternoon and it got here Saturday morning. I don't know why it gets here so fast from them and I'm not complaining. |
