| You are more familiar with e-cigs than most posters here are.
Go with what you prefer as 50 different posters will give you 40 different answers.
After all, vaping really is very subjective.
Rather than read throughpost after post of "No wait, this is the best e-cig ever..." , why not start a poll and list the most popular choices to vote on.
If you don't wanna, I can start one...but I can pretty much guarantee you that the winner of the poll will be the 510. |

| The poll sounds like a good idea as long as it can be limited to 1 vote per person... I can think of a couple of reasons why some might want to skew the poll by voting LOTS of times... no, not me, and not any good, reasonable, mature, ethical reasons but hey, none of us can be perfect ALL the time (no, Rocket, not even you.) So set it up; we all want to play!

| Subjective indeed.
I was a fairly heavy smoker, I smoked 12-16 cigs per day. When I went electronic I stumbled into it and ordered a Smoke Assassin, FREE with $9 shipping. The catches were, no nicotine in the carts (St John's Wort for 'relaxing effect', and a SUBSCRIPTION for 20 carts per month, at SEVENTY DOLLARS! While this sounded good, I started looking for info and found Vapeatron and Vt Vapor. I learned quickly, got the HIGHEST nic content Tobacco flavor from VtV and began filling the carts.
Then, disaster. I broke the atty. I had a guy in NH get me a 510 kit, based on what people here had said about the 510.
So, for my two cents: the Smoke Assassin (AKA Smoking Anywhere 084) is a light hit with OK vapor, decent taste and average battery life.
The 510 is a bit more ciggy like, more vapor (I am assuming from a better 'tuned' atty and two holes as opposed to four) and a manual battery instead of the 084's automatic. After hitting the 084 I hit the 510 the same way and nearly fell off the chair!
I want to get some connectors and make adapters for a 901 atty and an 801 atty, though a lot of people say the 801 is inconsistent.
Oh, and I made a kludge 5V mod for the 510 (that fried at least one atty) that, even though I was used to the 510 by the time I did it, knocked me off the chair again! Now working on mods 2 and 3.
I'm a cheapskate (read: not a lot of money to sink into this) so I make my mods for $10 or under.
So far the 510 gets my vote for full flavor, while the 084 is more like a 'light' ciggy.
If I get another atty for it, I'm going to fill the 4 holes to 3 and then 2 and see what happens.
As I have said before, I just can't leave things alone! |

| Your list looks good to me. I think those are the models and types people talk about the most in a positive light. The Blu and the Volcano have been mentioned lately in both positive and negative comments... The person who started with the Blu liked it and every body else hated it, so it probably doesn't need to be included. Look forward to seeing the finished product. Thanks for doing it!

| From what I can tell., the Blu and Volcano are fairly similar to the 401's, so for all practical purposes could probably be considered as such. For certain purposes, like dipping, that style of atty works best according to many people. |

| The only thing better than a 510 is a 510 with a bigger or higher volatge battery.
@firhill, your list is the Best of the Best, only I would leave the mod section open and not name any particular mods. Let he voters pick their own, JMHO.
Laz, currently vaping a 510 LP mod, and puffing on some La Gloria Cubana Médaille d'Or No. 2's that I got a great deal on... Not telling where though, so don't ask....

I blew out two attys in 10 days, got some new ones, and the second day another one is giving me trouble! I vape a LOT, but 24 hours for an atty?!?!?
Cigarettes are beginning to look better, $$$ wise... |

PUFF | I realize that-I personally can attest to the Blu's totally crap customer service, etc. (canceled my order in fact). It was mentioned in the thread prior to min e so thought I'd clarify in relation to other models. I did, however, order the OTHER model, and have had no problems with the hardware or the customer service, though it doesn't compare to some of the proposed models for the poll as var as vaping quality imho. |

| I've been doing this since 2/09 and have tried or used the following: 801, 901, 510, Screwdriver, 4075, 4072, 401, various pass-throughs and the 5V Prodigy with a BE112 atomizer. By a very large margin, the 5V Prodigy with the BE112 atty blows everything else away. 6-7 hours of consistent great throat hit. 5 volt vaping is a no-brainer IMO. |

| My first post on a forum ever! I'm so proud of myself. Been free of cigs since April 09, Started with smoking everwhere, what a rip that was. Then I started reading the forums and because of you guys I wound up with a 901, then after more forum watching tried the 510 and I love it. I think this forum is just a great thing. I'm still a 510 girl. |

| Firhill, can you change the name of the thread with the poll to add the words "vote here" so it reads "What's your e-cig of choice? Vote here" or "Vote for the e-cig of your choice"... I think the only reason more people haven't voted is that they aren't aware of it. And it's a cool poll.

| I thought that was the case but hoped I was wrong (oh, darn, why can't I ever be wrong!!!?) I think one of the head guys could do it if we asked in a pm. I don't mind asking but not sure who to ask... Godling? Do you think it's worth asking? It's a well-constructed and interesting poll and I hate to see it not used to its full potential. I guess we could start a new thread with "poll" or "vote" in the title and then link to this thread.... wouldn't that work?

Go ahead and post it if you don't mind and I'll make sure I bump it up when it moves too far down the thread. |
