| OK vapeAtron experts, here's the gig.
I have one 1300mah GoGo battery which I assume is the touted (while often criticized) MOSFET switch configuration. This battery only seems to hit about 50% of the time on any attached carto that works just fine on the other identical battery. In my language of ignorance, this means it's not the carto and have already deduced that much.
A vendor tells me it could be one of three things and to follow this procedure first: Run the battery down as far as she'll go and recharge for 4-5 hours, thus possibly resetting the switch? Before giving the impression the vendor is trying to avoid return on said battery, let me state clearly....the offer for return is open and vendor has no real reason to lead me on at this point. I can return the batt anytime.
Can anyone confirm the above may work, or suggest something more prevalent to the problem? Would appreciate any positive info to this regard and serious answers for starters. Then per usual, let the fun and games begin! And they will............ |

| I would say the fact it works 1/2 the time it sounds like the switch itself is faulty.

Give it a shot and report back. If the vendor is willing to replace it, he has probably seen this condition before.

Your assumption is correct in the fact this vendor seemed confident in having seen this before. I'm proceeding with the process and it will take a while to run this thing clear down. When I think about it.....I run it to the cut off point with carto off, in between trying to hit the darned thing.
I remember you saying to run these Ego type batts clear down when new, and then charging full for green light. Maybe should have listened to that advice. Sigh.....but listening to folks who seek open season Wolverine bow license can be a bit concerning.
But I'm ready for ya......

Now i just sit here and complain about batteries that don't work. Ahhhh, the good life. |

| I really liked hunting pheasant but most of them have disappeared from this area except for game farms..that's my kind of hunting.
Ive been white tail deer hunting but that's not fun IMHO. I could see trying boar hunting..I would love to do another whole roasted pig. We did one of those ever year with the boy scout troop and that's a lot of fun.

Roast hog is the best IMV. Belly up and eat all day.
Some people might find that a little backwoods....all the while eating a pepperoni pizza. I think maybe seafood is more prevalent in your neck of the woods? |

I would kill for Maine fresh lobster though. Nothing like whole steamed lobsters from cold water places. Frozen Tails suck.

Spent another night eating boiled crab?....at some joint along the Atlantic. These things were so hot you had to down plenty of liquid to put the fire out. One of my best buddies was from Maine and his talk of seafood drove me half stupid. Love the stuff..... |

You think I have a shot at this mosfet problem? In 15 months of vaping this is the first problem I've had with a batt. Been lucky I guess.
Taking the darned thing down is worse than vaping it. Any ideas on how I can speed up the process? Safely? |

Safely? | Vape until it stops vaping...what you need to do is place a resistance across the output and just turn it on and let it run down. Hypervape using a cartomizer and just keep hitting it. Waiting for it to run down on it's own is going to take days.
BTW, one of three things will happen. You'll run it down, recharge it and it will work. Your hypervaping will totally blow the MOSFET out. You'll run the battery below the recharge point. The last two result in a warranty claim.

I have been vaping since September, have had 2 battery failures, the last time I had one fail it was after 4 months, and the supplier said they only guarantee them for 30 days because they all fail eventually.
