I been away from vaping now I'm back Still using my Mod the 5 Volt Detonator.

Now I think I want a tank. been looking at the MAP Tank but not sure which Ohm? I always use regular 510 attys and they are great at 5v.

I have read good and bad about the MAP Tank. I've heard that they taste bad if you hitit when the tank is low and then the bad taste dosen't go away? Is that true?

What about the J Tank? any good?

I use the GotVapes FLüXomizer™ DeLuXe CLEAR KR808 XL.
This product is not for everyone, due to the fact there is some fiddling to get it to perform as advertised. Just do a little research/video on this product to insure a good experience.
If your vaping 5volts I recommend the 3.0-3.2 ohms.
You can get a burnt taste with a low tank but flip it upside down for a few seconds and your back vaping. My first time loading one of these things I burnt it up out of the gate, but all I did is turn it upside down and flush the tube out with everclear and the burnt taste was gone!
I'm a heavy vapor so I can get about half a day of heavy vaping out of one fill.
Killer product if you can your hands on some, they are sold out a lot. Yes I'm on the e mail list!

I'm glad your back Robert!
Also, thanks for tutorials on the detonator I basically used the same layout on my cig case box mod. Being an RC guy I used a Gens ace 800mah 7.4v(2S1P) Five bucks at hobby parts! I can vape at least 10 hrs on this battery through the 5v regulator I have vaped on this for three days between charges
Any way,
Vape on!!!

Thanks,
I have a AC wall charger and I can also charge it in my truck. These packs rely on a speed control to ensure under volt protection, so could be a problem for Joe average, but you could just weld a low voltage cut off switch into this set up.
I just plug it into my watt meter if need be, otherwise I just charge it nightly.

Well, I have tried making some syringe Mods for Cual coil Cartos, and they do work for a very cheap price, however they are not very sturdy. There are a lot of Tank Mods out there for Cartos right now and all are equally well built in my opinion as I have played around with the Strom Tanks and I own a stainless steel MAP Tank for Sual Coil cartos. I have to say that I love my Dual Coil MAP Tank for many many reasons, the most being that it not only holds enough juice to even get my ChainVaping through an entire day at work complete with commute, but it is also very very nice looking on my Provari now that I have it polished up really shiny with some 400 Grit wet sanding.

Here are a couple pics:

I hope this helps at least a little, I have not tried it yet but I intend fully intend on getting a new Notcigs M1A1 Buzz Tank because they are pretty much indestructible from everything I have seen.

Yes, very nice looking in deed on your provari! Is that M1A1 the one where he had a picture of a tank? Hehehehe.. I've only been keeping up with the infinity.

Glad you like the tutorials- I just copied the Maddog Magnum and added some lights, etc....

Funny you should say RC cause I just bought some Gen Ace 2S 5000mah 50c Lipos for my Associated SC10 Short Course Truck. Those Batteries kick!

Those MAP Tanks are nice and yours looks great all shined up too bad they are never in stock.

So are dual coil carts what I want? Some like this Liquinator - https://www.vaporescence.com/shop/eg...ategory_id=130

are in the carto metal tube not like the map tank w/ exposed internals ??? What works better? Is the Liquinator any good?

Now I am not an owner of a map tank or liquinator, (I have made similar though). but I would say go with a j-tank, liquinator, or that nice looking m1a1 tank -----edit-DM's pic is of a dual coil map tank, very niceif your going to be vaping at a regulated 5v.With the carto-type tank setup you have a wide variety of differently ohmed cartos, xl dual coils, etc. to choose from. It all comes down to personal preference in the end.

The original map tanks and others that use a ce2 seem like more of a hastle to me, plus I never cared for ce2's to begin with, so the idea of a giant ce2 never appealed to me.

I like pbusardos take on the jtank here is a link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7btamhhqDo

I couldn't agree more about the CE2's them things are just plain NASTY IMO. I liked the performance in the MAP Tank I have for them, but anything other than in a MAP Tank the CE2's of all various varieties including the Giantomizer version 1 and 2 were horrible from start to finish.
