| I'm going to give this secret away
Here is one way to mount a "Good Switch" in a copper pipe mod.
It does require some metal working but not beyond the capabilities of an experienced modder.
The switch will be epoxied in place later.
Remember, this is a Rocket Secret, shhhh.

| ain't it though
I was digging around trying to come up with something better than the little red button switches. Then it hit me. Square peg in a round hole.
Here's a soldering tool everyone needs in their shop. An electric range

Yes same Vape-N-Charge setup as the BM.
The 'Raw Material' for the button is in one of the photos

| You are an evil genius, you even labeled the pic "head of the nail". Next week when I learn to read I'll catch that sort of thing.

| Most of the galvanize removed by machining process. Plane old steel.
Maybe I'll 'Blue' it.

| That's a cut down eGo connector soldered into the front copper cap.
I'm going to mount a 510 batt connector in the bottom for charging.
This is just a spare time effort

| Turned out very nice, but what else might one expect from a propulsion engineer? I was going to add that I have seen copper, brass and other metals and alloys used to make nails. Thought it might have been a little easier to "machine" Possibly a better fit for your beautiful work of art there? Anyway I stumbled on something quite interesting while looking for a pic. Here is a hint below and the link to a write up, I would think most tinkers here would find interesting. Also.. Can't find any Nichrome wire at any brick and mortars around here. Tried Radshack (they only sell phones now apparently.. what a waste), Hobby lobby, Michaels, blue/orange box HD and Lowes that is. As well as several mom and pops (hobby and hardware). Any ideas where else to look locally? Besides the net obviously, not having much luck and I wanna try some stuff.

Another thing is I still am not totally sure which size I want/need to work with here. Is <26g really a requirement? Optimal gauge 30 or so? Looking for about 25-28 ohm per ft. Really would take anything close at this point. Sorry for going so OT again Rock.. You da man and da man wit da mod! Again gratz, Looks pretty dang fine
edit - For an Atomizer... if that was not obvious... sry
edit #2 - This stuff work ya think? http://www.infraredheaters.com/sleeving.html

| I have some copper nails but the shank wasn't heavy enough. I thought about using 3/16 brass machine screws but would require a trip to the hardware store. The nail works for now.

[ http://www.infraredheaters.com/sleeving.html | There is a place in Tomball called Thermal Solutions of Texas. I don't know if they will sell to the general public or not, but you could try them. Deer Park isn't that far from there. If not, they might could tell you where to get it locally.

Toys, Phones, PC accessories, and that's about it. I miss the Radio Shack of my youth. Where does one go to get inexpensive speakers that perform well these days? Loose electronic components and project boxes, switches, wires, all the stuff I used to rely on Radio Shack for?
