| Okay so, once the Puresmoker order gets here, it's likely gonna be me and a likeminded friend wanting to try out a couple flavours off the JC sample pack (...once it gets here, haha).
My question is, is it gonna be difficult to swap flavours? I figured if we use a bunch of carts it'd work, but I'm so totally a newbie here. |

| you can do the drip method, 1 or 2 drops per flavor, smoke it off till its dry, and then repeat. That way you don't have too much juice floating around. Otherwise, Id suggest getting 10-20 blank tips if you want to use the carts.
You can smoke a cart dry, and try again from there, but I have a feeling that lingering flavors will be there.
One thing that someone from 2005 mentioned, you can remove the cotton from the cart with tweezers, run it thru water, dry, and replace. But Ive never gotten the cotton back in fully the right way, it's never the same after that. |

| Agree with Vape - dripping is the way to go. I got five flavors and just did one drop of each to try them. Luckily they were all good so I ordered 20 empty carts and filled them up.
I know some users prefer the drip method exclusively, it just seems like too much hassle and a potential to harm the atomizer. |

| I've successfully washed and repacked the cotton several times - it works, no lingering flavors, but it only works well 3-4 times. After that, the cotton just gets too flattened. |

| I just fold it in thirds like it comes originally, and I use a tweezers to put it back in. I hold the folded wad by the bottom with the tweezers (so the rest of it is between the "legs" of the tweezer) and guide it all the way down into the cart. Keep it from pulling out with your finger while removing the tweezers and presto!
It's nearly impossible to get it back in without scrunching it a little - but that gives me an idea.
Maybe use a small section of drinking straw, fold up the cleaned pad and gently insert it into the straw. Insert the straw into the empty cart and put something with a slightly smaller diameter into the straw to hold the wad down while you pull out the straw. That should keep any scrunching to a minimum.

I just make sure to rinse them when I'm done and don't tell her about it. |

| will still take a bit to get the flavor out of the atomizer. some flavors can linger for a while. the "best" way would be to have a different atomizer for each flavor.otherwise just smoke it out. but i would give about a 901's batteries worth of vaping with a flavor before judging it to make sure the previous flavor is pretty much gone. im using a month old cart that i have never washed, and still works great, and its had 4 different menthols and riskee go through it with no washing, but i think the wife would kill me if she saw me using her tweezers on a cart, hehe |

Doing it this way, you can insert it into the cart without worrying about bunching. just grab from the bottom with tweezers.
Tonight I am trying a new method of refilling too. I am taking an old 4oz baby bottle and putting about 25-30 poly squares inside and saturating them with the juice. All i need to do now is grab on with the tweezers and put in the cart. I still get the production and life as a regular prefilled cart and i dont need the dropper. I dont worry about waste because i have that bottle labeled with the flavor and will keep refilling it with juice and poly.

| You can always replace the polyester fiber fill batting with new batting.
You can buy 100% polyfill batting from Hobby Lobby, Walmart or just about anywhere that sells sewing supplies. Make sure you don't get any that is fire retardent. This has been chemically treated and you don't want any chemicals in it. The safest to use, to be sure it has no chemicals is the filter material for fish tanks, get this at Petsmart. Yes, this is the same stuff that is in your carts. (It is is listed as the material used in the carts according to Ruyan's patents.) Just cut a piece roughly the same size as the original packing. I have found that the best way to install the batting is to fill the cart 1/2 to 2/3 full of juice, roll up the batting between my fingers and then slide it in. The juice that is already in the cart will lube the batting and allow it to sleeve in without bunching up.
