SMOKING EVERYWHERE is a complete scam site and rip off. Their site advertises falsely. They tell you on their site you can get a starter kit for $10 or so (it changes). After waiting 6 weeks, my account was charged around $10 and then a $99 charges was deducted from my bank account. I called them and the rep said the $10 was for shipping and the $99 was for the starter kit which was a trial and could be returned. They never mention on their site when you first order that you will be charged $99. They say you can return this but it has to be within 14 days of the original order. Since you don't get them until far after the order, this of course isn't possible. Then I learned on a forum that they set you up without your knowledge for an automatic mailing of cartridges every month for $50. I called them and the rep said I wasn't set up for this automatic deduction. I asked him to repeat himself several times to make absolutely sure this wouldn't happen. Each time he said, "No, you will not be charged." Guess what? Today my account was charged $50 by Smoking Everywhere. The Reps are obviously trained to lie well. Once they have your debit or credit card number you are at their mercy. They are deceptive and are thieves. On top of it all, their e cigs are crap, don't hold a charge and the vapor doesn't last for more than 10 hits. NEVER buy from this company. They should be shut down for outright lying to customers who are at their mercy once they have your account info. Please help spread the word so more people don't have this rip off company steal from them. DO NOT ORDER EVER FROM SMOKING EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've heard the same reviews from other folks. I always tell them "nothing is for free" except our samples
The bad thing is with these companies advertising free ecigs, it is hard to find in fine print the "your gonna get charged for it" clause. It is disheartening because people get discouraged from using the ecig when it is truly a remarkable product.

I don't sell, have NO financial interest in any seller.
LeCig you are absolutely correct.
These scammers, the multilevel marketers, the $149.99 kit, or $79 a month VIP people are hurting the effort to get these things accepted. Website hype has taken out many small resellers. Hang dude.

Your so right. It is a shame. We are so thankful to have the customers we do and their happy vaping and telling more friends and family. If it wasn't for vaping I'd still be chained and shackled lol

I feel for the people who get suckered in at the mall or with the first E-cig that they see advertised. Let this be a lesson to spread to others, do the research and ask the questions before you buy a kit. Google is your best friend in the world when it comes to research on things like this use it to your advantage. Check out what other forums are out there where you can get more info. Read the quick little Noob Guides posted on the forums by people (like myself) who have been down the path prior to you, we all stand on the shoulders of those who came before us, would Bell have invented the telephone if the telegraph wasn't invented first?
Once again, sorry you got rooked but it happens the best thing you can do is what you did, post the info out there for others to see and educate those that you can when you can. You might be able to get your money back with a letter to the BBB and repeated calls and emails to them directly voicing your displeasure and I would even take the time to point them to a few threads on different forums where they can see that their product is crap and a scam and we all know it. Good luck.

Saw an S.E. kiosk at a local mall yesterday, but don't know if that would be different or not. Oh yeah, they only wanted $160 for their starter kit. |

I fell for Smoke Assassin. Free e-cig (DSE084, $9.95 Shipping) and 20 carts a month at $69 a MONTH! I quickly canceled once I looked around the web (and came here) and found these carts are worth ~$22...
Lesson learned. I now have a much better e-cig, a 510,and juice that is a lot cheaper then $70 a month! Also, a lot of great folks! |

When I was researching before purchasing my 510 I came across so many scams just like that. One company was charging $90 a month!
It makes me so made that companies like this continue to prey on the uninformed, and give products like e-cigs a bad name by doing so.

You saved yourself a lot of money by researching it thoroughly first although I can imagine that I might have been one of those taken in by the scam had I come across them for the first time in a mall or shop. If I could have dashed down to the store and bought one the first time I saw them on a nightly news broadcast, no telling what I would have bought or how much I would have payed. But I'm in a fairly small college town where the sidewalks roll up around 10 so all I could do was google them, a lucky break for me because I found ECF and Vapeatron right away and they saved me from myself!

If there had been a kiosk at the mall...but I'm sure Mass has either banned their sale here or will soon. For such a 'progressive' state they sure are backwards minded! But the story I saw said "...at an average price of $120..."
I knew they would come down so I waited. It only took about 6 months. Of course, I did find one at a tobacco store in NH, but they wanted $99. I knew if their price was lower, that I could find them even lower than that...

DO NOT ORDER EVER FROM SMOKING EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | In case you don't already know, here are some places you can file a complaint. I got ripped off in the past and the FTC actually DID stop them and get money returned, etc.
Start here with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission): https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.go...d.aspx?Lang=en
The IC3 (Internet Crime Complaint Center) gives the victims of cyber crime a convenient and easy-to-use reporting mechanism that alerts authorities of suspected criminal or civil violations. For law enforcement and regulatory agencies at the federal, state, local and international level, IC3 provides a central referral mechanism for complaints involving Internet related crimes. Start here: Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) | Home
The more people who report these scams, the quicker they can deal with them and shut them down! You can even report what you heard other people say about getting ripped off and should, because the more they hear about certain companies from different people, the quicker they investigate and pounce. The FTC don't Ef around!

Tell them to call the smoking everywhere # and they will put you on eternal hold.
i just got off the phone with a client that told me she made the mistake of giving them her phone number ... the relentlessly pursued her (notice they can make calls, they just can't answer them) telling her it was ONLY $70 bucks per month for the cartridges ...
She's a happy D1 user now with lots of suppliers to buy from. |

They do it because they don't want people refilling their cartridges since they make more money selling pre-filled cartridges than they would selling liquid. They are only interested in how much profit they can make instead of trying to please their customers so they'll have return business. Stupid and annoying, but as long as they can find people who don't know any better, they'll continue to make money, which is unfortunate. We can't stop them, we can only educate people who come to this forum so they know to STAY AWAY from them and others like them.

How about the "new" L2-510 or the "Famous 510"? DSE-510 Matte Black - $59.99 : Esmoke4life.com, The very finest in e-smoking products |

How about? Is the L2-510 or Famous 510 a scam? I'm looking for a starter kit with mega 510 batteries in the price range for a newbie. Ideas?
