| I don't think it is a matter of stupidity as much as they are trying to increase their visibility online. They probably found this forum isn't heavily monitored, so they can drop their links on the forum without them getting flagged as spam. Which in turn can help increase their search engine ranking position. There are programs out there which will scrape the entire web for places they can drop their links in. | |

I didn't even think of a program like that, but then again I don't really understand much of the dynamics involved in the search engines.

It appears volcano cigs may have hired someone from Bangalore because they are using the keyword electronic cigarette and are trying to rank higher in the search engines for this term. If you see the guys signature you can see where he is from.
And he is probably make 4 dollars an hour if that for doing this.  | |

Ive asked to moderate, but never get a response. Id clean these posts so fast they'd never get picked up. I started the hall hoping at least they see who the offenders are at least, but I guess they don't really care.
