Looks like the one for 49.95 is a switching and the one for 45.95 is a linear.

He does have his phone number up I almost thought about calling him and asking him. Where is he?? LOL

Naw it probably wouldn't but that is a pretty good deal for a vv and a 3xaa box is tiny cute.

I also wonder if someone purchased the extra batteries are the batteries he offers are protected??

Im sure they are but according to the site the blue trustfires wont fit in it..the batts are a 9.00 add option...still though at 2 x 900mah should get about twice the life of an epower

Hi Guys,
Yep, still can't get email from this site! Sorry.. Hey I'm available via live chat on my site or use the Contact Us page for email and phone. I try to make myself very accessible!

The VariCool is still on sale today, grab one before noon tomorrow!

This batch uses the standard MV case so it will accept the blue batts, but they're a tight fit. I'd still recommend the 50mm trustfire flame batts, they're only $9 a set when added to the kit. The charger is a multi-charger so you can charge your other batts as well.

I have yet to write down a warranty, but lets just say that so far I haven't had a return, not a single problem and if you do have an issue, I'll take care of it.

Happy Sunday!
-Rob

The vari-cool name was used on a mod at "that other forum" that used a switching regulator. The "cool" part was because the switching reg. doesn't convert as much power to heat as a linear regulator does so it stays cooler and batteries last longer. The sw. reg. is more expensive;hence the price differential between the two.

You are correct on your data and I appreciate this. I didn't know of another mod by this name though, damn I thought I was original!

Yes the code vapeatron5 will give you 5% off on anything except the daily deal.
