Stormy's Vapor Cellar carries the Smok Tech E Power and has 15% off right now. She can also get the 18650 E Power as well and can sell individually if kit is not desired.

Yes, it is/ was. He has applied for patent too. We saw it here while it was in development. Maybe he's allowing smoke tech to market it since he has them doing the manufacturing?

From what I've been able to piece together, Romaniac and SmokTech independently developed very similar designs at about the same time. I have both, and there are differences . . . I'm interested to hear Romaniac weigh in on this.

went to smok tech and did an inqury on the 18650 as i seen on the page for the 18650 it says minimum order qty was 10. so i emailed them and asked if i could just buy 1. they sent me an email and here is the figures. i was shocked to see that the shipping was more than the device itself one is for DHL shipping And the other For EMS shipping. didnt get a response about UPS shipping as it might be higher than the 2.

edit: said by the salesperson about UPS: "The UPS is the most expensive , it should be $36"

Thats pretty typical when buying from China..suppliers purchase units in large quantities and repeatedly, have buyer negotiating leverage..the high shipping costs can be spread across larger numbers...not to mention the risk when dealing with over seas and customs, paypal worries etc. Purchasing directly in small quantity is rarely worth it.

Just a long term follow update to this.
I have had problems with the switch assembly carto threading on several of these units. The center pin does not make good contact with some cartos.
I did find that the 510 shorty extension like this one from here solved that problem without having to mess with either the carto or the battery side (bad idea)

Those shorties are cool. Didn't know they had them in a short version. I got some long ones as ya know and they muck up the draw for me. I've never been able to get the DCCs with the whistle tips to work on those without having to pluck at the center pin on them. Since I got my VVs and Mach II, I don't use this one anymore. How's the switch I sent ya holding up?

I have one that grinds when you screw it together, another works just fine, and the best one is lost somewhere...

Just had another switch go bad, this is the first one where it isn't due to me putting the battery in upside down. I put in a battery, get three blinks, go to vape, it works for a second, then the light on the switch goes very bright, and it stops vaping. After that, just blinks like a dead battery. Tried several freshly charged batteries, all displaying same behavior. Switched out parts with my other ePowers, came to the conclusion it is in the switch. Oh, well, I still think these are the best solution for me, another $12 for a replacement switch. The replacement switches I've been getting have a different button, transparent instead of translucent. Wonder if they changed any of the internals?
