Those of us that want to build a rebuildable atomizer need schematics and instructions, right?

Well, all thanks go to Scubabatdan's open-source publications:

https://www.filesanywhere.com/fs/v.a...8a5d6472b1b169

https://www.filesanywhere.com/fs/v.a...8c606270a971a0

His e-mail address is just above the links if you want to send him a thank you.

For me, it's a bit bulky and appears to be really heavy, but the plans should give everyone a general idea of how to build one.

There are quite a few versions of Hybrid atomizers out there, but they ALL stem from the original designer, RAIDY!

Haven't tried hunting down Raidy's original Genisis plans yet, but they are open-source.....somewhere?

Anyway, just thought some of you might like to see the plans for building an American-made permanent atomizer that you can easily clean, change wicks and change or alter the vaporizing coils to suit your purpose.

Enjoy!

Yeah I know....

The thing is built like a Abrams Tank too, which is just nutzo to me.

There are other designs that are more beginning modder friendly and don't require a machine shop to make one.

Some are so easy that a child could build it, but finding the schematic and the instructions is another story.

And there are about a dozen or so coops going on or in the making on newer versions right now....

But at least the instructions give everyone a general idea of just "how" to build one.

Another place I saw where somebody else was playing around with another similar design and the stainless steel mesh just kind of disintegrated over time. Open up the wick and it was just missing big sections of holes. Made us all wonder where did it go to?..
I see the cost savings attraction over time but I really wonder about the rest of it too..

No need to wonder if it disintegrated....

You don't have to use stainless steel mesh with several designs. You can use whatever wick you want to use.

But you've also gotta use your head and keep an eye on your devise (like any other) making sure its clean and functioning properly. So maybe its a good idea to have a wicking material that will shows signs of "change my diaper, please"....
