All right, I was going to post in the same thread, but thought better of it.
[quote]VaporFiend,
I found something elese that will stick a 401 in the on position. Apparently my car's subwoofers have enough punch on bass heavy music to keep the microphone batteries in an "on" state. Picked up a copy of Pendulum-In Silico, popped it in the deck, and voila instant on e-cig.
Just as an aside- My car is throughly packed with over 200lbs of Dynamat exreme to prevent annoying people with my music.

first,
Thanks drdave, not only for padding your car, but also for the mention of Pendulum. I checked them out on lastfm , and eventually heard a song titled Tarantula. I'm thinking of doing a Nutria remix.
second,
Yeah, some police are just too scary to pull somebody over for that these days. Once, as a teen, I was riding with friends with the bass up, we were pulled over for disturbing the peace . . . at 2 p.m. Of course the music was probable cause to search the vehicle(which was clean ,by the way) and check each passenger. Overall, the officers had us stopped for over two hours.
These days, people can drive down your street as slow as possible( that way every house is thouroughly disturbed,) with bass more powerful than ever, from dusk till dawn.
That's just dandy . . . we have to focus on legislation against the real enemies, e-cigs and the people who use them. Yeah, disturbing the peace with their little LED's blinking, and failure to throw nasty 'butts' on the sidewalk.
