A photo series of a small mix has been added to post #11.
Rocket's DIY E-Juice Mixing Tutorial

(and yes, I know it's closer to 50/40 PG/VG with 10% other stuff)

Nice clear photos, Rocky.
That would make a nice tutorial on it's own with some good captions.

What is that, a 3-inch needle?
I think I'm starting to experience a little needle envy over here...

inkjet refill blunt

and the itty bitty is a 0.5ml insulin syringe with the needle pulled out.

Post 11 should balance against the written tutorial.

Two mixes, in one post. Talk about conservation of server resources

That's a source I hadn't considered before.
(maybe because I use a laser printer)

I've always used medical supply and industrial adhesive sources for syringes and needles.

I'm gonna toss out a thought about e-liquid safety.

The (in)famous FDA report that found a bad substance in one prefilled carto struck a sour note with a lot of people. Granted the DEG was found at about a 1% level and even though it was probably "calibration error" or "standardizing residue", contaminants could still be a concern for any of the ingredients in e-juice. I understand chances are low, but it could happen.

This may sound stupid, but since I would doubt a contaminant introduced through a manufacturing error would happen at multiple facilities at the same time, mixing your own juice might be safer. High concentration of a contaminant would probably be intentional and we have very little protection against this, but the concentration of minor contaminants can be reduced by mixing PG and VG in a 50/50 ratio (40/60, 39/61, whatever). The risk will never go away, but why not make your e-juice

twice as safe
