| Puresmokers, Totally Wicked, Ecigarettecigar have them, and possibly some others. Super Mini / PeeWee are the names used in various places. |

| I think the rn4081 gets a bit of a bad rap in some places. It is my second favorite device behind to DSE901. For someone who wants to use carts and have a very little hassle device I think it is the perfect solution.
If you are refilling it is not the best option, but refilling can get messy at times. It is a great starter device and still a best seller. Most people who get buy one and continue to vape will eventually get a different device though. Like i said, for using liquid it is not the easiest solution. |

| I've been using mine for 3 or 4 days now (2 with no tobacco at all). The battery seems to last me much longer than other people have experienced. I was smoking a pack a day before... one charged battery will last me almost or all of an entire 8 hour work day.
The cartridges taste horrid and I have been refilling and dripping with JC which seems just fine. I have nothing to compare it to, but I do assume that the 901 would be a step up as far as refilling goes. I've ended up with pure liquid in my mouth a couple times and when you are running close to dry, there is a hot polyester flavor and aroma.
I'll probably stick with this model, but I could see getting a 901 for home/office/car smoking. I am still not comfortable with the idea of smoking a 901 at a bar...seems like it would invite well more interest than I'd want to mess with when I'm out for a laugh with friends. The 8041 can be smoked for quite a while before the average person notices that I'm not using a normal cig (we have not been banned in one of our twin cities). |

| Hi Cimikayj, The white 901 and the rn4081 are very similar. They are just about the same length and with a orange or brown cart the 901 also looks like a tobacco cig. I have been seeing a lot of people lately that don't want their device to look like a cig at all. That is a big change from a year ago. |

| SmokingEverywhere has this model as well. The Gold e-cig is what they call it.
I dont really like Puresmoker PeeWee that much. It seems to be very inconsistent.
Not sure if that is a reflection of puresmokers product or the model though, i have nothing to compare it to.

| I believe the trend is to get away from cigarette looking devices in order to both avoid the hassles you can get by "lighting up" in public places, and/or to help with the quitting process I wanted one that was the same size, and shape as a cancer stick but not look like one so I got a Dragon m401 from Truesmoker.com to start out with and try. |

| I picked up a 4081/ NPRO here locally because I didn't want to order online and wait. I had family coming in and didn't want to smoke around them.
At first, I used only the menthol cartridges that I bought with it and honestly, I wasn't all that impressed. I had found the forums and was considering buying a 510.
The next day we stopped to look at the kiosk for a e-gig for the other half. The prices were way to high but I got a bottle of over priced juice. That first drop on the 4081's atty rock my world.
Since then, I refill my carts or drip straight to the atty. I get great vapor and haven't had a failure yet. I may still buy another model but until I decide to do so, I have no worries that the 4081 will take care of my needs.
It really is too bad that the 4081 gets such a bad rap. I think it is many peoples first e-cig and by the time they get use to using it properly, they will have already moved on to something else.
Of course any one that has a unloved 4081/NPRO/ SE gold/ Peewee etc etc, don't leave it to clutter up your desk. Send them to me. (I'll pay postage) I clean them up and use them to introduce others to our favorite pass time |

| Way to go, JiminDenver; that makes you one of the good guys. I started with a 510 and can't imagine switching to anything else but that's a great thing to do with abandoned models.

| Thanks Kaye but I suppose it's self serving as much as introducing people to it. I figure the more people that get into it, the more power we have.
I started out just using the regular carts that come with the NPRO as I'm a menthol user. A fresh cart, a hot battery and a drop on the atty and their eyes light right up.
I know a few Smoker friendlys have had a run on E-cigs lately, so it may be working.
My first abandoned unit is going to be a NJOY/E-cig that a bowling friend picked up in a casino. She saw my NPRO and said she had one but didn't use it much. It is a pen style with a flat tip and she just wasn't comfortable using it. She has only charged the battery once and has the original cart on it still. That's since June. lol
It wasn't a appearance issue but rather size, weight and shape. The small Npro is also more discrete. |

| I am new to using e-cigs. I got my Smoking Everywhere Gold (Silver color) at a smoke shop about 2 weeks ago and have not looked back. Down to 2 or 3 analogs a day max from a pack a day for 30 years. Just got a Super Mini for my wife from cigarettereplacer (she wanted White like a real cig) and some Red Pack ejuice on saturday. She is already down to 3 or 4 analogs a day from a pack to a pack and a half a day for over 35 years. We are both hooked and are looking forward to not doing analogs at all very soon.
So far the RN4081 is a wonderful product for us no regrets. Now we both want passthroughs for our vehicles and in front of the computer. Family and friends are so very curious about them and can't believe the realistic hits and flavor, not to mention the potential for the savings, but they are still waiting to see if they work for us or just a fad. No fad for me this is great. Noticing my sense of smell coming back and foods taste better too. I love my RN4081 and will keep it until it dies.

| That's a good story to hear OneDragon. I like when ppl find what works for them.
The 4081 was my first model as well. It's a good solid model, that doesn't get alot of praise on the forums. I think this is partially because of the cost and partially because of some of the shady practices SE uses to sell it.
And it is kinda a Biatch to fill, but I found, with a properly formed paperclip, it's a lot easier. (hint: mcgyver up a little cart stand so that the clip pushes the reservoir flush with the top of the cart and holds the cart upright at the same time).
Or, if you perfect your dropper aim, you will be able to top off on the fly.
All that being said...I have...4081, 401, 901, 801, 510, KR808, and greencig...and the 510 rules IMO. You should try one at some point. |

| And of course, I have to jump in here and second highping's suggestion that you try the 510 at some point. Check the 510 threads and eventually someone will mention an especially good price for a 510 kit (I only use USA sellers so I think around $45 with free shipping is good for a 2 batt/2 atty set) and for a sale on the 510 manual mega-batteries (takes the 510 from about 4 hrs to 9 to 12 hrs between charges). Right now, Rocky Mountain Vapor has the 510 starter kit for $46, free shipping. But there will undoubtedly be sales where you can get it even cheaper.

I waited patiently and then contacted a local guy who charged only a few bucks more, but the guy at RMV is a decent sort.
Maybe my next purchase. |

| Thanks for all the kind words.
Got our other 4081 from cigarettereplacer.com as I mentioned with 2 extra batteries and 30ml juice for less than my 1 SE Gold. They are out of NJ and received them in 3 days (free shipping). I have been looking around and there are a lot of great offers around if you look for them. Filling carts does not seem to be presenting any problems so far. Gotta try some custom mixes now. hehe
I will not be buying from local retail again that is for sure LOL
Going to take a look into the 510 next from what I have been seeing and reading on this and other forums. |

Going to take a look into the 510 next from what I have been seeing and reading on this and other forums. | Snarky will tell you it's a bit harsh, and it is, a little, but if you were a full-flavor smoker, like Camels or RYO, you might like it. Have a look in the Pro-510 Users Only thread for more info.
I had an 084 for a few days till I blew out the atty, and it's like a Light ciggy, while the 510 is like above. The one big drawback is battery life, so get two batteries and a USB pass thru. If you get the USB pass thru and a USB charger for your car, you can use it while you drive without worrying about the battery quitting. Also, the charger (most of them, actually) takes the same power plug as a Radio Shack radar detector (1.3mm inside).
Harshness is also a by-product of what you're vaping, so you may have to try different liquids until you get something suitable. I like tobacco, so VT Vapor tobacco (kind of like a Cuban cigar, or a heavy Turkish tobacco) cut with some of their mint is good for me. |

| I am new to the e-cig world. But had been smoking for 30yrs time to stop. Tryed prescription drugs etc. Nothing worked. So, heard about this at our local Cigarette Store and got on line to check em out-- I purchased the 4081 at SmartFixx.com. Havent had a cigarette since 10-20. I am now trying to find the perfect e-juice for me. I smoked Menthol so tryed some Menthol, dont care for it to much so now have ordered some mint. I am thinking about the 510 also, but right now the 4081 is working great. |

| TXLady, I too like my 4081, as much as or more than my 510. They seem to be super durable and as mentioned I don't think they get nearly enough credit for a starter ecig. If it ain't broke, well, you know. Cheers |
