Mine (from what I can tell by other tubevids) with shorty-wicks and cup are, so possibly you have diff version or clone not sure? My tip also doesn't fully screw down however was that way when I first got it. When it was fresh noticed it was almost overtightened at factory, and when tip was unscrewed it loosenned the atty head so that had to be resnugged before filling.

It was just odd to see a newer not as popular as the stardust clearo cloned so quickly. Even cloned with same tip prob as the Kangers lol .

Then this (for the the same listing).
Not just wick length but a different style too.

3...2...1 <fires cap gun>
Let the flameing beguine!
Though this one Does have clear diffs. The T2 kanger or otherwise is a replaceable atty head.
Now from what I've seen "most" replaceable atty clearos are to a piont rebuildable but are not really desighned for it.

...sorta like a mass produced chinese "mod" | No, I believe rebuildable refers to actually making a new coil, withc I've seen done with the T2. However the T2 is not sold for that purpose. The T2 is sold as a replaceable-atty clearo, where as you buy new atty heads.
The folks on youtube rebuilding T2 atty heads are creative and just showing possabilities.
Now the Oddysuss (sp?) Is a true rebuildable atty system.

| I havent messed with them yet but I got a bunch of vivi nova tanks that can be recoiled so Id consider that rebuildable..and customizable
replaceable attys isnt what Id call rebuildable...more like repairable

| I have no idea..they are all still sitting in the box as I havent bothered to get wicks yet but did manage to talk some very nice people outta numerous samples of nichrome and kanthal..
I just havent felt motivated to tinker with them yet without the wick being in hand first..

Maybe the cup holds juice to saturate the short wick?

| I gotta say I like the way the Vision VIVI V2 I got is made.
Note the cap is just a tube (there is a concave washer inside) and there is that ledge that keeps the tube from sliding down and pinching the wicks.

As for the vivi post have no clue how that fits in lol.
I'm thinking going to be stardust fiasco again.

Swore I was done with CE2's but after reading some pretty good reviews and watching some review videos, figuered I better give it another go. That and the whole Bogegate thing....
I won't try and rebuild, so my experience will probably be different than others looking to "experiment". I might try cutting the wicks back, though. |
