hallo to everybody, i'm from italy, and i'd like your opinion. it's a month more or less that i have stopped smoking analogic cigarettes. with ecig i'm vaping not a great amount of nicotine, just 2 ml of 15mg/ml liquid a day. but i'm having some little problems. i'm a little anxious, feeling like i had a weight on the chest, mainly during evening. i thought to have more breath doing sports but it's not, i'm breathless and feel palpitation.
do you have the same problems? or others?
thank you a lot for your answers and please write an easy english because i studied just at school!!

I suspect you are just suffering anxiety from withdrawal from all the things in cigs that are not in e-liquid - BUT if it persists, see a doctor...

yanez: I agree with Prof; not psychological but real withdrawal symptoms from some of the many chemicals in tobacco cigarettes that are not in e-cigs. I haven't seen anyone else reporting the feeling of pressure and almost everyone reports that breathing starts getting better as soon as they quit tobacco cigs. You might get more response from others by asking your question again on the main "General Discussion" or "New User" threads. This is the "Off-topic" thread but your question is really not Off-topic. Post again.

Analyzing what you have experienced, it is true it may be a part of withdrawal symptoms. May I ask, did you stop smoking abruptly? Or gradually? Because these two have different outcomes. If you stop abruptly, these symptoms may appear.Although with regards to your chest heaviness, it may also be because of other problem. I think it's best for you to see a doctor, if it's worrying you.

thanks power, i'm quit smoking gradually and it seems symptoms depend on it. some days ago i had no liquid, waiting to receive it, and i smoked only VG and PG and i felt like i wrote. re-starting smoking nicotin it seems go better and the doctor's check up was good. how hard is to quit smoking......

like one of the previous post suggested, i'll post this discussion among the main topics.

Sounds to me that despite the low nicotine amount that you are having a nicotine od reaction albeit a minor one which is the cool thing about nic overdoses if you pay attention you can feel it coming on and stop before you get in a danger zone. Keep in mind even if your only puffing on 3mg of nicotine, if your doing it constantly you are taking in a lot of nictotine. One thing many new E-Cigs users experience, just be careful, and of course if symptoms persist get in to see a doctor. It could be just the combination of quitting smoking, although I have not experienced anything like that and I was a 32 yr smoker, that don't mean it can't happen. Use your head is the best advice anyone could give you, if the symptoms persist get in to the doc, it could be this or it could be signs of a different problem.

1) To get enough oxygen to them since their lungs may be failing,
2) To avoid making the lung damage worse by introducing more pollutants than are necessary into the air taken in by the lungs.

Maybe you should change another brand liquids, the liquids you were vaporing maybe with too much PG, which can hold too long time in your lungs.

This also happened to me. It was so bad, just getting into bed would make me breathe heavily. I also noticed that the skin on my upper chest was slightly red and itchy, and that made me think I may be having an allergic reaction to something. I reduced the level of PG in my liquid to less than 60% and both problems went away. I have read that some people must avoid PG altogether. ECOpure liquid is 100% VG, zero PG, and available in the EU.

Wow, I just responded to a thread from last year. What a tard. For my next trick, I'm going to mail an angry letter to President Johnson.

Again? (Benefits of smoking with E Cigarettes)

Again!
