OK, so I've been here for a while (over two years) and something odd happened...

I would log in with my Blackberry, and then exit Opera Mini without leaving the web page. I did this like three days in a row.

For those three days, my battery would drain down to the point where it would shut the phone (radio) off, and when I checked my balance I had used all but 1 MB on a 100 MB data plan!!!!

Does vapeatron "push" information doing status updates?

Of course, the "smart" Blackberry doesn't TELL you it shut the radio off until you try to make a call. Some "smartphone"...

Ouch.

Don't know about the BlackBerry but it sure sounds like the browser is still active unless you log out. Sounds like a trip to a RIM forum is in order.

I leave it on the Unisys site for days, no problem! But the three days I left it "idling" here it ran the battery down. It doesn't shut the PDA part down; when you flip the lid and look it looks back like "here I am!" but the radio is OFF. At least my Palm had a notifier TELLING you the radio was off!

Reminds me of the "roaming" days when your phone wouldn't tell you if your carrier is robbing your bank account!

I still HAVE roaming but they make you dial the number again to let you know you're paying through the nose...

I remember having trouble with apps running in the background on BBs. Especially browsers. Try a reboot maybe?

I just navigated back to the Unisys website (where I get my jobs) and it stopped....

Maybe if you contacted them you could get your 99megs back.

This month is almost up anyway...Well, I guess I have about 2 weeks before I have to re-up again. Hopefully I won't get any 7-11 calls in East Overshoe....

And I can't run down the minutes ahead of time because I have unlimited...
