| When the atomizers began to taper off and the batteries began to act flakey after only 3 weeks I began to look for a way to supply longer more dependable power under manual control.
Been smoking for 54 years, primarily a pipe for the last two. Couldn't afford a 601 so I took an 801 battery end, a momentary contact pushbutton switch, 7.2 volt ni-cad battery packs from RC racing days and my favorite old corncob pipe and came up with a kluge. Though it is not pretty, it works and keeps me happily vapeing.
One connector on each side for 24 hours of 3.6 volt vapeing and one connector on the end for recharge in 15 minutes.
Dripping with a manual pipe is just like packing a pipe and keeping it lit.
As my loving wife says; "Now I don't have to worry about dying in a burning bed."

| DO NOT TRY TO SMOKE E-LIQUID. Repeat 10 times. Cover your kiddies ears before going on. I put a few drips on a certain unmentional substance lit it and took a good deep inhale.
First of all the sound it made when I lit it should of been enough to tell me I shouldn't be doing this. It crackled and spit yet still I proceeded.
The stink and taste was horrible and it didn't really burn that well (I used an umm..."lady pipe").
The feeling I got in my lungs was proof enough for me not to ever try this stupid people trick again.
That's my story and I will deny I ever wrote this if need be.

ROFLMAO!!! I've had people ask about the OTHER way around, but never the juice on the..er....bbb...
Hey! Some of the best inventions known to man have come about by complete accident or "experimentation". You might have really hit upon something there (pun sort of intended...)
Then again...
I love adventurous types...

| This might be off topic or not. I am looking for the thread that someone built a very nice wooden holder for all thier batteries and atomizers. It hangs on the side of the desk. It looks very good and I would like to try and make something like it. I have so much crap laying around on my desk (and kittys like to play) |

| Hey, you all: how many folks out there have the capability to start making e-cigs/vaporizers in job lots -- of all-American parts, using common AAA batteries -- and selling the same? I'm asking because it looks like the fed-govt. is planning to shut down imports of vaporizers. When that happens, we'll need home-grown manufacturers, using all-USA components.
If the fed-govt. gets really snarky, we'll need manufacturers who sell only in their own states, which means that the e-cigs will not be "interstate commerce", so the feds won't be able to shut them down. This has worked for gun manufacturers, and it could work for us. All we'll need is an e-cig maker in every state. (Is there anybody here from Arizona who's got a machine-shop?)
We don't need to worry about getting the e-liquid; those tobacco-farming Indian tribes, whom the fed-govt. scr*wed last month by forbidding Internet cigarette sales, have already started turning their tobacco into liquid nicotine and selling it to the suppliers.
All we need now are local e-cig manufacturers in every state. Is anybody out there?

| Hi, Vic! Er, actually, that "unmentional" stuff is a resin that's meant to be vaporized at a much lower temperature. Nicotine, whether you want it vaporized or oxidized, requires a much higher temp. It's like the "viscosity" problem with diesel engines: all a question of ideal temperatures. You're better off doing the "unmentional" stuff the old-fashioned way. Heheheheh.

--Leslie < ))>< | Leslie, I agree and its an approach that will probably be addressed in the near future by many whom enjoy an entrepreneurial spirit. ( ...or odds on a gambling type!) I have been comped a room and plan on making a deposit/reparation to an American Indian tribes res at the end of the month at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Tampa, Florida.
( One of my favorite places to vape; though I have never been approached by anyone saying, "pssst... wanna by some cheap 96mg smoke juice?!")
*OT ...but for those following my vaping/fishing escapades I caught 37 assorted keepers (trout, macs, snapper, cobia, sheepshead, pompano, shark, etc.) in Tampa Bay recently using just one LeCig D1 24mg Refillable Cartomizer & one Joye 510 Mega Battery! Shoulders about back to normal now; what an Awesome Day!!! !
