| wow...nice desk flood.. Great review as always..
but to be honest Phil..I have several of them and there seems to be variations from one to the next of each size and production runs I guess
I have a slim tank but it has the round recess too for example...
I also have had pretty good luck with the pre drilled cartos most times but not always...I think they are kind of stuck having to guess people will be using 100% PG as a worse case scenario hence the small hole but Ive been able to use thick juices most times without major problems..but maybe I dont chain vape as much..IDK
Lastly though..I carry these things around in my pocket all the time and am constantly grabbing them by the top, all of mine have not had any problem slipping like yours did and coming off..at the most they may shift a little like the slim tank did in your vid but none has ever come off unintentionally in daily use...maybe the drip tips Im using prevent that but I dont find them to be loose in the least to be honest...

I filled another slim the other night and it was much tighter. I think if they get a little more consistent and tighten them up a but, they would be great tanks and very cost effective.
As far as the hole is concerned. I personally feel like the small slot I put over the hole provided a "fuller" vape and had less issues with keeping up when chain vaping. Everyone is going to get different results with that hole depending on juice used, power supplied, and vape rates so it's going to be a tough one to call. |

| Yea the whole hole thing is goofy.. ..
just for fun I took a ST LR SCC I was using for a 95% VG that I had punched myself on 2 sides this morning that I had been using for a week in a slim tank with no problems and filled it with some 100% PG and it immediately leaked like a sieve..I had to lift the tank up to the point where only one of the holes was partially open about the same as the pre-punched carto...then it stopped... I think we need flow gates for different juices..

I do that a lot Berger. If I ever getting flooding, I tend to pull my tank up a bit so I'm covering holes, or slots, or whatever, and vape until it gets just a little dry and push it back down.
You know, if the tanks have some kind of up and down screw mechanism on them, you'd be able to turn it to access the slots or holes or whatever and adjust how much juice the carto sees. Similar to what we're already doing, only a little more elegant.
Similar to what Pit is talking about, only the adjustment is on the tank and not the carto.
We're onto something here boys! |

| If you had a tube with an I.D. the same as the O.D. of the carto +.1mm and cut to the inside length of the tank(between the plugs).
And it was slotted to a similar degree as the carto, the carto could be inserted into the tank through the second tube.
Rotating the second tube would allow you to adjust the port by which the liquid enters the carto. The liquid would provide a seal and lubricate the adjustment tube.
The full length of the second tube allows it to be adjusted by simply removing the top tank plug and twisting to achieve the proper liquid flow.

| know those slightly larger diameter XXL cartos?..bet they might work for that with O rings of the proper size..I just happen to be working on something else that is a similar thing..Ill take a look at that idea too and see if I can work up something easy to do that..

| I have had two come apart on me. Different ones. One filled my back pocket with juice. The other, I was trying to pull the drip tip out and somehow managed to pull the tank almost completely off the carto. Draining about 3mls of juice into my lap. And today one of the ST DC cartos came apart right where the clearos usually do. So the tank did not leak but it did fall in the sand. As far as the hole goes.. man I dunno. The stock hole is defiantly to small for the way I vape but, I can't seem to get a slot just the right size/place to keep it from flooding. As far as the slipping. All 3 I have slip constantly. Hard to put on or take off without holding the carto at the bottom. I have to hold the tank, drip tip and bottom of the carto all at the same time to take them off usually. Mine have always stayed real loose. But hey.. Can't beat the price
But if anything is going to break, it will happen to me. I am after all, Destroy-o-boy

Thanks wetwire. Glad to know I'm not alone in my unfortunate "juice abuse". |

| My take on this is that if you didn't want to dump juice on your pants, why were you wearing pants?
Did I just say to much...never mind.
