| Oh, I have about 20. But only fill 3 at a time. Then wash them the 3 I'm using. Popped open a new one last night and filled, let it soak overnight. Used it this morning, ahhhhh . Are you saying I should put holes in a tupperware lid? |

Uh, I forgot, is not a good excuse. Make it part of your "Newbie" education spiel. Make sure they know the risk of accidental ingestion of e-cig. Scare the heck out of them. Especially if they have family members with Frontal Lobe Development Deficiency Syndrome (under age 25).
You start a Newbie on e-cig, it's your responsibility to inform. After that, all bets are off.

FLDDS?? Heck, even the acronym's a mouthful!
Yes, if left out, kids, cats, dogs, chinchillas & squirrels, raccoons and bears if you live in a place near the woods like I do, can and will try just about anything! The sweet smell of PG draws them in & because it's not natural, they don't know better, drink it & can die.
If adults choose to drink it, I suppose I could xpost to the Darwin award site... they should simply know better!
Even if you just have kids over once in a blue moon, or once in a while, put your stuff away! PLEASE tell me we don't have people on here that leave their eCig stuff all over the house! Do I have to call Nicey Nash & have "Clean House" come over? If so, I think she's a smoker... I wonder if she's converted to eCigs yet?
See! We could get someone to clean up their eCig mess AND offer a celebrity an alternative to smoking analogs, all in one show! The producers would be nuts to let a chance like that go by!
Seriously though, PG could be worse than eating a cig for a child (either way, it can be fatal), and with pets and wild animals, its even worse! They are drawn to the smell ans taste of PG!!!
So do NOT just toss your carts... please rinse them out if you have a dead one, especially since you likely just filled it before you realized it was dead!
Hmm... begs the question.. I wonder if someone could do a youtube video on how to revive a cartridge? Is there already one out there?
I'd love to see one for the cartomizers for the KR808 or KR-808-D1 (the CR-1 cartomizers) |

| I think I've said this before but If you have access to any place they do blood tests or blood gasses you can ask for the test sampler boxes they throw away. They have a snap in phial holder with 25 or 30 3/8" holes that can be used to hold cartos or carts (or regular length batts) they are 3"X3"x2.5". They will NOT hold cartos with the silicone condom in them. But they will hold 4-5 5packs of empty cartos and most 10ml bottles stand up in them IF you strip out the holder.
My wife is a respiratory therapist and every work day goes thru a couple of boxes doing blood gasses, The samplers are used to calibrate blood gas machines.
Per my experience these boxes are freezer and dishwasher safe. bikes
For those concerned about exposure to blood and blood product and disease, these boxes are only used to hold the calibration chemicals and are not exposed to anything hazardous. bikes

My advice, stock up; preserve. If I am wrong then hey? who's the loser? | You are - you are buying a lot of stuff that will go bad before you will use it.
If you want to protect yourself from regulation - the most you really have to do is buy a liter of nicotine - as that is the part they will regulate.
Simple box mods are fairly easy to make it seems, at least it looks so from how to instructions I have seen online, and even if you are completely inept at that sort of thing - you could always find a freshman EE student at a nearby college to do it for you. VG and PG are easy to get, VG can be bought in any large supermarket for about $8 a pint. PG can be bought at any feed store for less then $5 a gallon (they feed it to calving cows for prevention of ketosis). There are whole bogs about making your own liquids, but the easiest is just to buy LorAnn's flavorings from the cake and candy decorating section at Walmart.
So to be safe, I believe all you have to do is stock up on nicotine. |

| If you are stockpiling supplies, don't get wasteful.
Fully diluted and flavored juice can be stored for at least several months in the fridge.
Don't worry about freezing, with all the stuff in it you can't, not in the home freezer anyway. Some people have commented that flavored juice will change taste any a while. PG or VG based unflavored at a "SAFE" Nic level can be stored for over a year in my opinion at 40F in the fridge, or in the home freezer at 4F. never is actually that cold to polar bears or diluted e-juice
By safe I mean 36mg/ml, maybe up to 60mg/ml unflavored. 100mg/ml is starting to get risky but if you are careful you can store it also.
In response to the "liter of nicotine" comment. Drop the glass bottle of nicotine on the floor and your house becomes a "Super Fund site". You can not clean up a spill like this in the normal home without taking everything out and washing it. It will require professional cleaning before it would be safe to inhabit. You may want to put your neighbors up in a nearby motel until you are done. One liter of pure nicotine (1 million milligrams of nicotine) is enough to fill 20 2 liter Dr. Pepper bottles with 25mg/ml diluted juice. If you do that then each of the diluted bottles would be safer to handle.
Can you store 20 2 liter bottles in you fridge?
So, back to organizing your stash for the long run. Unfilled cartos or cartridges store well (I wold guess several years)
Filled ones and diluted/flavored juice store cool, for a few months.
Diluted e-juice without a lot of additives store longer (maybe 2 years?) in a cool place.
Li-ion batteries store best at 80% charge, sealed and kept in the fridge for 3 years.
Know or learn how to be useful. Knowing how to make an e-cig mod might be a way

Rocket | I would not suggest keeping it in a breakable container – but I do think you are being a bit of an alarmist. Surely it is extremely poisonous – but it breaks down very quickly – so your home would not become a safety hazard. In fact it breaks down so quickly it is one of the very few poisons legally acceptable to use on organically grown crops. I have used a 40% nicotine solution on plants for years, and spilled it quite a few times, with no harm done. Here is a copy of the label (if this uploading thing works) http://www.vapeatron.com/members/kus...68/nic-203.jpg

| It just hit me to look up more about Black Leaf 40 on the web - and with further reading I found that the government has banned it (I have about a forth of an old bottle left as it is really strong, you need only 1/4 teaspoon in a gallon of water, so a bottle last a small gardener for years) . So it seems now gardeners are making there own out of cigarette butts. So I guess if they do ban e-cigarettes we can make our own the same way . Also I was being a bit sarcastic in my first email about storing a liter – it just hit me if anyone was that afraid about a ban that they were buying hundreds of dollar worth of stuff – a liter might be enough to bring peace of mind.
Part of my attitude about not worrying too much about a ban is that my second favorite substance to smoke for the last 47 years has been illegal for about all of that time, but people have kept using it, and finding all the paraphernalia that they could want to do so. And so, I feel if the do succeed in making vaping illegal – I believe we can find ways around. |

| kushka,
I agree that just thinking of a potential ban on e-cigs or e-juice is stressful.
When we opt to prepare for the future we need to consider a few things;
what do I need to keep me and mine happy,
will I have to keep it hidden,
and do I know enough about it to not hurt those I care about?
If e-juice only lasts 2 years in the freezer, then I will cull out the old stuff, add new stuff, and maintain a 2 year stash. If I can no longer buy e-juice, then I have 2 years to work on an alternative plan, which may include quitting altogether and keeping the stash for barter.
My apparent harshness in my previous response, was only to get a response. Be very careful with your e-cig stash. The blackleaf 40 is only 400mg/ml and you know how risky that was. You know, way back when it was legal to use
Best to you, be safe;
Rocket
Some people should not own guns, some people should not have a liter of Nicotine

However, like many of you new or fairly new to vaping, I am fast accumulating a ton of stuff, from atomizers, cartridges, juices, chargers, batteries, etc. Most of it is sitting on a corner of the dinner table now, but my very patient wife is getting a little fed up with the clutter (even though she's vaping too ) I must admit it does seems to be slowly taking over the table.
So my question is: What creative ways have you all come up with to keep your e-smoking stuff organized at home? | i found two wooden chest shaped boxes decorated with an antique american flag & gold clasps at Hobby Lobby here in Ky. they're about as big as a bread box.. fit perfectly in the corner of my breakfast bar & they match my deco. can't go wrong!! |

I have a large ego style carrying case to keep my Silver Bullet and BB in when I'm on the move or traveling. There's a webbed pocket and two elastic bands to secure both mods, and there's room in the webbed pockets on the other side to store clearomizers, mega cartos, batteries, or a voltmeter. http://www.rtdvapor.com/BATTERY-CASE_c9.htmI bought a few of these nylon battery/bottle cases with carabiner. These are useful for extra batteries, juice bottles, clearomizers, cartomizers, etc. They can be attached onto the zipper holes of the ego carrying case to carry extra stash. I also have the clear battery cases for each battery size I use. I can easily see which battery I need thru the clear plastic boxes and storing them in these helps organize them and I feel safer with them in a container.
Tank organizer/carrier. I found a sewing mini tool kit at Hobby Lobby that had multiple elastic bands. I am able to put up to 8 DCT tanks of the small and large size.
I ordered a leather dragon hide mod sleeve for my silver bullet and a leather lanyard for my BB from http://www.serenitygear.com/ . He custom makes leather products for all brands of mods. Excellent workmanship, these are pretty special and worth the $25 considering they are made to the dimensions of your particular mod. Griff's Leather Mod Holsters
