| I have a few questions..
how many analogs does it take to equal one cartomizer?
Should you put 'refill' drops in the cartomizer after each use (assuming you smoked it like you do an analog-for a few minutes @ a time)?
How long should one cartridge last (if keeping it fresh with drops)?
How long will a catomizer last (if keeping it fresh with drops)?
Do you recommend the PCC?
What I am trying to find out is appx. how much I 'should' be smoking since making the switch to the e-cig in comparison to analogs. Does that make sense? |

| The 510 is okay if you get the large batteries, however those batteries are not much cheaper than an ego or riva battery. I did a lot of research before I purchased my first kit, and I bought an ego. You should read as much as possible and research everything.
Don't jump on the first deal you find either, shop around, and take your time with the decision. Also, don't rely on the flavors or juice that comes with the kit, try to find some samples so you can have a little variety. The stuff that comes in those kits is usually not conductive to switching you off smoking.

| Nah. It is good to keep it filled, but I find filling it to the top diminishes the vapor. Fill it, hit it a bit, let it rest and hit it again. The 2nd or 3rd round it gets settled in nicely and makes more vapor than a cig. Quote: |

| I get about a week or more out of a cartomizer. Sometimes they get 'gummed up' after 7-10 days, and at $1.75 each, why bother? I have had them go as long as 17 days. Quote: |

| Sorry, missed that. A cartridge lasts me about 15-20 minutes of vaping. A cartomizer lasts about 45 minutes or more. Quote: |

| The 510's come with a charger that has a 12V input on the side, and you can pick up a cable at Rad Shack, for radar detectors. Quote: |

| I find I hit the vaporizer a LOT more than cigs! I guess there's something in cigs besides nicotine that your body or mind craves, and so I make up by vaping all the time.
Everyone's different, you may not need to do this.

second, dont worry about the should.. should i vape this much. no,, you should find a comfort spot. thats what every one here has done or is tryin to do..
it took me a month to find what i want and need. the problem is the want list keeps gettin bigger and the need list.. well lets just say i allways have a ounce or so of 36 mg juice and now two spare batts. but thats me.
now i have 11 days off analogs. i almost bought a pack tonight outta habbit. still got a cravein but it is much easyer to say no now and take a toke. |

| Flash, If you are just starting out a 510 generally beats anything esle but rather than starter kits I have two recommendations as an alternative to a reg. start kit
a)get 2 of the $10 black cigarrete pack ecig disposables and some juice similar to current smoke litecig-usa.net and mad vapes has them
b)boxmods.net sells a great kit with one of those leatherette retro cigarette cases fitted with a charger,1 510 mega battery and 2 CE2 cartos 24mg marl , $16 again, get some juice

| Cartomizers are certainly better than your basic carts (IMO), but I'm really eager to check out a CE2 XL tank mod. I think it'd be better than both, depending on how much you can store in it, and how leak-resistant (or preferably leak-proof) it is.

it takes a lot of juice. i put about 4 mills in it but you can fit 5.5 or so..
if you hold it upside down it does not leak, i left one of mine <i have more than one> upside down over night on a napkin, and maby a drop got out.
i left it sideways for two days, with 3.5 mills in it and not a drop.
i left it veritcal, and well it does not leak...
if there is a leak then you can put some heat shrink on it. i have some for making batt packs, it fits sung and after shrunk it seals the tank temporally till you cut it. this is for high stress envyroments like construction.
this beats the hell out of my cartomizers and my bogie carts are a second to it. |

What I am trying to find out is appx. how much I 'should' be smoking since making the switch to the e-cig in comparison to analogs. Does that make sense? | This is my personal experience and answere to your question:
1.They say that a carto equals a pack of cigs. That's B.S. 5 cigs max!
2.I don't. I fill up 3 LR boges and they last through my 12 hr shift supplemented with about 4-5 analogs
3. They last me about 3-4 hrs
4. mine last about 3-4 days. CE2s last longer if you want a more time-consuming refill
5. Totally up to you. I don't use one
6. I can vape constantly, no matter the nic strength. I can't smoke analogs constantly. Hope I helped a little |

| I've had great luck with zigcigs.com with buying 510 stuff. He's not cheap - but you'll get speed and excellent customer service. He's had to change his company name to Zee-Cigs: I guess zig zag wasn't happy. He's on youtube and when you call, u get Shawn on the phone! He's very helpful.
Best wishes from a Xavier grad. I miss Cincy - lived in Mt Healthy going to school. Msg me anytime - been vaping since Nov.

Not much cheaper than eGo or Riva? I almost never even glance at Riva 510s because they're almost always quite a bit more expensive. I suppose it depends on your definition of expensive though.
And Ali- PCCs are awesome. I just wish they charged more than one bat at a time!

| Bikes, whats the dremel for if you have a tubing cutter?
I just picked up a 1-1/4" to close tube cuter yesterday (not sure if the old one is very sharp) and one of those refillable butane torches pen. (I'll dry burn those SOB's if I got to melt the thing!) and a can of butane.
I was looking to do the syringe mod tonight and was just waiting for a couple 3 ml syringes to wear out.
I have to do something quick as my mail just came in and Im sitting here looking at brand new bottles of Juicy Vapor - Caramel Corn and Gourmet Vapor's Vanilla Twist, Neapolitan Shake and something called Chocolate Lust (whatever the heck that is?!)
Also grabbed at barbecue lighter for a 1.00 on the way out for the parts. I thinking of doing a slightly modified nicodrip down the road.
What atty do you all out there recommend for drip only mod?
