Oh well...guess it won't hurt to go ahead and open a "dispute" with paypal.

I sent an e-mail, using a different e-mail address, last Wednesday and they responded on Thursday...they attached an updated price list to it.

Last response I got on this forum was a PM reply almost 2 weeks ago, the one saying that someone in Vegas (that ordered on the first of the month) got their juice delivered.

How does the "dispute" work with PayPal? I may have to do that also. I only placed a small order to check them out. It is funny how they were posting here and then after we (a few of us) placed orders, they stoped posting.

When you open a dispute it basically allows you to send a message to seller so it's still just an issue between the buyer and seller.
If they don't respond, then you escalate it to a claim and PP looks into it at that point.

I just opened a dispute with the seller...basically asking as to why the goods were still not delivered after 22 days. I'll give them 2 days to respond before escalating.

Just don't make any mention of e-cigs/liquid etc.. as we all know PP's policy regarding anything to do with e-cigs.

Yes, no mention as this would just add fuel to the fire at PP

I created an account this past weekend and prepared to order. I inquired about availability on a few items that were vague/inaccurate at best. Received a form letter in response. FAIL! #1

I replied with specific questions and requested specific information such as avalability of 901 e-Cigs, Methods of payment availableto me, and regarding shipping and subsequent trackability. I also inquired about customs issues. I receieved an invoice in German. Shortly after I receieved an invoice in something that appeared be be English. Sort of. None of my questions had been addressed. 901 e-Cigs were invloiced as 902 e-Cigs. Bzzzzt! Wrong answer- not even close. Whiel the numbber is close the product is NOT.

I replied again with clear and concise questions. I received a reply the following day with yet another invoice and I was instructed to pay "Asian-sounding named person in Madrid Spain" viz Western Union. I logged in to their site and saw a similar but not identical invoice with similar but not identical instructions.

I deleted my account and wrote 'em off.

I had attempted to place a smallish test order- a few hundred dollars worth. I plan on placing e-cig products in my retail store and hadthey got this even close to correct and reasonable I would have followed up with a very large order.

Thanks but no thanks. I hope you folks have some luck and receieve your orders but I wouldn't hold my breath. While I can understand certain difficulties due to language/translation issues this was absurd. This outfit reeks of scam or, at best inept, and I'm certain that if they are even remotely close to "legitimate" any further dealings with them would be nothing more than a three-ring circus of errors, lost or erroneous orders, or simply "lost" funds.

While an individual might fare well buying a kit of two or a few bottles of juice if they are indeed "legit" I would never consider them for a large wholesale purchase and certainly would never expect to develop and ongoing relatiosnhip with them.

I'll poke around and try a test order elsewhere. Heck I might just find a nice bulk retail stateside dealer. That will cut into my profit margin but will keep a few more US Dollars here in the good ol' USA anyhow. I'm not looking to make a killing and frankly I'd be happy to cover my costs, make a couple bucks for my time, and get some good folks off analogs and into vaping. *shrugs*

As usual- is it sounds too good to be true it probably is!

Good luck all!

My order was very small. Only about $20 because I wanted to see how good they were. lol, not good at all. I have also filed a dispute with PP with no mention of what the product/item is. I am sure I have lost my $20 but thats why I did such a small order.

Call me an optomist but I get the feeling these guys are legit and are just terrible in the CS dept. ....and also shipping times.

I see they made a few change to their site again and put both types of liquid back up.

They also redid this...

For eLiquid-orders please choose EMS Courier.

Please ONLY contact us for shipments if your shipment has not arrived within
30 working days.

IIRC they originally posted to contact after 15 days...I'm hoping they're just really really slow in the shipping dept.

I'm gonna hold off a day or two more before I escalate the PP issue.

Maybe they got overwhelmed with orders. lol, 30 "working" days is a long time but I can wait awhile longer and give them a chance to redeem themselves.

I'm guessin they upped it to 30days to allow for any orders over the next week during the national holiday. I just don't see why a scam artist would take the time to alter the shipping dates to allow for an upcoming holiday...most wouldn't even bother to change it, I'd think.

Then again...they have now removed PP as an option to pay and also jacked up the shipping cost on liquid while lowering the max. bottles per order.

Max qty per single EMS Courier-shipment is the following:

10ml bottles: 50pcs
20ml bottles: 25pcs
30ml bottles: 20pcs
50ml bottles: 10pcs

Who knows lol

I'm wondering if maybe they had more than a few orders sent back to them because of customs maybe finding too much liquid in one package?

Maybe they changed the delivery to 30 days to give them time to resend?

Maybe they're skeered to post and say "sorry..your juice got sent back and we have to re-ship"

I think we should call in ScoobyDoo, Shaggy and the crew.

I also think they are "legit" in that they take orders for things, take payment for things, sometimes manage to send some things, and once in a while they get some of those "things" correct!

I noticed they do not take Paypal any more.

Tanslation issues or not, if they can't address a simple question, asked numerous times in repeated emails, and are in what feels like a rush to invoice me with incorrect items, I really don't want to do biz with them.

Last evening I dropped a few emails to a couple other Chinese wholesalers. My questions were answered, the emails included a greeting and closing, and I felt as if I was communicating with a human being (lets hope, huh?) who wished to establish a business relationship. The outfit in question here felt like nothing more than a hit-n-run grab and go fly-by-nighter.

My wholesale "shopping" is on hold for the next 8-10 days but I will follow up with progress reports as things develop.

Good luck to you folks still waiting for your orders.

They don't even answer my emails anymore. I am looking for somewhere to get some bulk Flue Cured (or a tobacco close to it). That is my prefered flavor and I hate having all these 30ml bottles sitting around. lol. If anyone knows where a good place to buy in bulk (at a good price) Please let me know.

Yep...my point exactly...Well points 1 & 2 anyway. I haven't seen anyone confirm your 3rd or 4th point.

They also stopped taking PP as a way of payment now.

I received this from them today:

sorry that your shipment will be later than we all expected.
Fact is that many shipments are coming back right now (refused by customs) and we have
made a decision early this week:

All orders placed in September with the destination USA will be shipped again via Madrid.
We tried this loop and it works.

We have no idea how customs can refuse (just some - not all) shipments but right now we know
for sure that bigger eLiquid shipments from China directly will not make it.

These redirected shipments will be sent out on monday oct. 5th.

If you donŽt want us to ship again pls. let us know and use the following eMail:

sales@ecig24.ch

WeŽre talking about 17 shipments who were refused up to now but we expect some more in
the next week. To avoid these problems in the future we have limited the amount of bottles
per shipment and changed the shipping method for both (hard- and software).

As well we have changed our eShop-System (youcig.com) because the old one did not allow
frequent customer communication which weŽve realized much too late.

It was not the best start but weŽll doing our best to improve all departments step by step.

Please...do not use the old "ecig24.net"-email addys any longer - for some reasons they donŽt work.
(hosted on the wrong email server)
WeŽve changed the mailserver last night and and NOW everything works again as it should.

Sorry for this long mail.

If you receive your shipment during the day on monday please let us know. Otherwise weŽll
organize automaticly the new shipment from Europe.

Again: We apologize for the inconvenience you had with your order. Please...in the future...
do NOT hesitate and contact us directly by SKYPE (ecig24) or phone 954-892-5002 and we can
eliminate promptly all problems.

Best Regards
TEAM eCig24/Youcig.com

I will give them some time to try and get things figured out.

I'm glad to see that you folks might still get your orders. I'd hate to see anyone get burned.

A well-written explanation and seemingly no language barrier- good deal! If they hope to do biz in the USA they are gonna have to keep communication wide-open. That is where they failed in my case- virtually no response to a couple questions.

Had I gotten an articulate response to the simple questions I asked I might have hung in there with them and given them a try. I've found a couple other outfits that are looking good. I'll be placing test-orders after the Chinese holiday and I'll keep y'all posted along the way.

There is hope after all and that's a good thing!

Best wishes and keep us posted!

Re: The PM some of us recieved

My thoughts and questions

1) There is no record of original order now since they swiched to new site, unless we, personally, retained the e-mails that came shortly after ordering.

2) I don't understand we all have to create a new account at new site. Surely their software has the ability to transfer all previous account information to new site.

3) By re-shipping next Monday, I'm pretty sure there is no way those packages(if they do ship them) will arrive before the last day eligible to escalate with PP so file a claim anyway.

4) Since they took the time to respond to some folks by PM my guess is anyone(like you and I) who recieved the "standard" message in a PM are the ones who had their package(s) returned. So, it makes sense that anyone else who ordered and didn't get the PM, should have their package by now. I don't see anyone posting that they recieved theirs, so I think it's highly likely that all packages were never sent in the first place.

5)Just make sure if and when (if you haven't already done so) you escalate the PP claim that you provide them with the name of both the old and the new site.

6) Can anyone find anywhere on the "new" site that allows viewing the prices in USD?

Ya thats kinda what i was thinking was the point of doing that so they can pass the paypal claim time. I never received that email from them you guys got or my order and i still havent got a reply from them from my previous emails. So i guess its time i file a claim too, was going to give them a chance but it looks like that might be a bad idea.

This looks like a lie to buy time.
The FDA and customs is currently not stopping any shipments at all.

Bill,

Thanks for posting. I'm guessing you ordered on 09/09?

Can you say who made the delivery on U.S. soil and if you had to sign for it?

I'm assuming you went with the cheap $5 shipping ..unless you really did order on Oct 10th and they also sell time machines as well as -cigs?

If you don't mind, outta curiosity, could you post or PM your order number.

Thanks again...and keep us updated.

Maybe Bill was a secret agent for ecig24 to try and get our hopes up!! Or else he got some really bad liquid and can make it back to tell us how it was.

He PM'ed me. Maybe he paid for faster shipping...he didn't say but did say it needed a signature upon delivery.
Said the Wang liquid tasted identical to the Boge liquid.
His order number was 363. We had same order date.

FWIW..my order was placed 9/6 and order # is #372

I'm still waiting.
