| i tried dissolving my Ethyl Maltol in everclear and dropped it into my juice, not even a hint of the flavor changing, then i just went ahead and dropped straight up crystals in my juice, STILL nothing, am i doing something wrong? i hope i'm not just stupid, but more often than not, that seems to be the case. help?

| No..your not doing anything wrong..maybe it just doesnt make much difference for you...flavors are a funny thing that can be different to each person..not everybody reacts the same way. Maybe steeping may make a difference after a while and maybe not. Not to mention if you just stopped smoking you taste may be going through a recovery or changes. Give it time and dont stop trying different stuff. Maybe sucralose may work better for you. Just keep experimenting..you'll find what you like..

| and in all honesty, at the moment, i have a 6 oz. bag of tobacco and i have a couple cigarettes a day... i'm disappointed in myself, but i'm just trying to teach myself self control, but then again i can make any excuse in the world and that doesnt make any of them any better. that's probably why my taste buds are all weirded out T.T

Dont be, insted of beathing your self up over a few cigs a day, how about this, reward your self for every one not smoked.. Dude, its all on how you look at it.. I Still and wont say i quit forever. Has it been a while, yea, a month or two about since i last had a cig, but the second i say that is it i am done, i got two packs and a beer.. SOOOOO, just take it for 5 min at a time, and every time you dont smoke, give your self a lil pat on the back, and if you do smoke, forget about it, cause in the end, every cig advoided means one less to your death toll..

| i'm a recovering drug addict, i know all about the 12 steps tek, and that step i have already made. i'm not really stressin about it, it was just a moment of weakness i'm not particularly proud of. all of that was very well said though and i appreciate all of the love help and support from all of you, as i've said a thousand times already. and to all the guys reading this, all homo.
