| Ok the wierdest thing in my vaping career just happened to me...I had a run away carto...I've been vaping on this carto for a few days now and all of a sudden it just didn't stop vaping, popping fizzeling no button pressed on my ego battery but it wouldn't stop drawing power....disconnected it from the battery and waited for it to cool down...grabbed a different carto put it on the battry and the batt now doesn't want to work at all....I push the button and the little light doesn't turn on and when I put a fresh carto on the batt it just flashes like its dead...tried the run away on a different battry thinkin maby my batt just chose that moment to die....and now the other batt isn't working....can a bad carto kill your batts? or did my batts just drop into a safty mode and I just need to wait them out to use them again?

| Are your eGos genuine Joyetech?
Have you tryed the five click thing,(if your batts had the five click on off feature)?
Also have you tried reattaching batt to charger I've herd this sometimes resets circuts, but be carefull and check for battery heat on charger.

| I'm not sure if there genuine joyetech...they dont have the 5 click safety feature there from back when ya needed a button protector, and got the first one on the charger now...hoping this helps resett the batt...

Where did you purchase them? That could tell you who maker is. Just be very carefull with missbehaving batts, while they are charging check them frequently. If they start getting oddly hot, disconnect and quickly (and safely) move it outside.

Your carto killed the battery and it ran away grabbed a different carto put it on the battry and the batt now doesn't want to work at all....I push the button and the little light doesn't turn on and when I put a fresh carto on the batt it just flashes like its dead... Flashes like it's dead, needing charge, or like 2nd carto is shorted?
tried the run away on a different battery thinking maybe my batt just chose that moment to die....and now the other batt isn't working....can a bad carto kill your batts? Yes. If a carto resistance decreases, especially a LR carto, it can easily overload an eGo battery causing first, a shorted Mosfet, then a no-vape condition.
[/I]or did my batts just drop into a safty mode and I just need to wait them out to use them again? | Try to charge them for a few minutes, if no luck then, no luck.
Be super aware of failures and hesitate swapping parts to troubleshoot. That's like counting bullets in a 6-shooter by pulling the trigger. Works, but - - - - -
It's time to replace the battery in that old multimeter and test cartos

Mistics also good for backups and out and about.
If not at your wallmart, try local smokeshops.

| Thanks rocket, tried recharging both with well no luck...I can smell the burnt battery smell commen from em both so yeah killed em both, before I do somethin stupid is it dangerous to use a lr carto on a 280 mah 510? I know there recomended for the larger batts but I am asuming because of how long each charge lasts for? Sorry I accidentaly thought last night that "hey things are goin good a few months and no e-cig questions"...today I got alot of em

| It will get better.
Hang in there.
2 ohm minimum on the little 510 batteries.
1.6 ohm minimum on 650mah eGos unless you vape em hard,
then 1.7 ohm minimum.
1.5ohm is risky except on bigger batteries.
A bad carto get kill about anything.
Walmart also has meters
