I have used it down to like 26 g wire, its all about the feel tho, you have to know when to stop and pull, its literally in the feel. Back last dec, i was up at brown university going insane trying to strip lil wires, to the point that i literally was using my teeth on the job, my knife, my sizors, and such just to get it done.. I wish i had brought these with me then, would of made fast work on the lil shit..

well the key is finding ones that actually work down to 26 gauge..usually wont go that low but some stuff does so its really nice to have that actually works well..Ive got those flat crappy ones they sell in kits at the automotive places but they are too cumbersome for this kind of work..

May not be good for live electrical work <well they can be, but my 1kv insulated ones work well for larger wires so...> But there my preference for this kind of work. Also there popular with demo guys <wink> so that fact just makes them so much cooler.. lol... But seriously, Klien is one of the biggest and best names in the electrical inderstery, i have 99% klien tools, things like hammers, hacksaws, and drills, i get elsewhere, as far as screwdrivers, insulated tools, and pliers, ect all the hand tools, there top of the line imo..
