I got some new Atty's and they got me almost completely stumped...they almost look normal except that the bridge is rather shallow and doesn't wick at all...I can drip into it and it works exceptionally well, but if I try to use a cart with it it vapes the top bit of liquid and thats it...any suggestions/pointers on how to get these low bridge atty's to work properly?

What kind are they? maybe there is an issue with the cart itself and maybe there is an alternate cart style that might be better suited for that atty...maybe

The cart is just barely touching the bridge...the last few atty's that I had pushed the filling down about 1/8 on an inch...these are just barely pushing down on the filling....

I'm not sure if I explained my delema properly...the filling doesn't seem to be wicking at all...if I top off the cart it vapes for a little while about one cigs worth enough for a quick vape break at work...but after the top bit of liquid is gone the cart is still full but stops producing any vapor it only take 2 or 3 drops to refill the cart to topped off...just wonderin if there is a trick to get filling to wick better or a better material for this....any tips would be appreciated

Now you know where dripping began....

When people got tired of topping off their carts, they removed the poly-fill from their mouthpiece and dripped juice directly onto the atomizer.

And after that the drip tip came, so you didn't have to keep removing your mouthpiece to drip.

Oh sure, you've got a few people that tried to swap out the poly-fill with tea bags and other various "fixes", but in the end dripping won.

And then cartomizers came into the picture....

And then tanks for cartos....

And then atomizers with tanks built in....FAIL!

And now there's the Ego-C....

That's the short version.

You could try prying the filler out of the cart a bit so it makes better contact with the bridge, which should help with wicking the juice out of the filler better. You just may not be getting good contact and once you've dried out the end of the filler in the cart the wicking ceases.

Ive only had two types of carts and never really had a problem with either but I know on those two the filling was all around the bridge..

perhaps punching the filling with a needle might help loosen it up some too?? I wouldn't go overboard with that..a little, try again type of thing

I think they make a little tank-like cartridge for the 510, right? I hate to start talking cart mods (shudder) because I wasted so much time on them a couple years ago, but I'd be willing to point you to the home-made "Zero Filler Mod" if you've got lots of time on your hands and you like to tinker with teensy-tiny little bits of juice-smeared silicone and plastic...

I just drip. It becomes second nature in no time, and seems like a lot less trouble to me.

....ok so bills caught up to me and I didn't have enough money to buy more carto's this weak and I was stuck with these two atty's that I could not get to vape at all...so I did a bit of "cart mods" checking and looking into to see if there was anything that might work for my problem and to my astonishment I found something that works and is stupidly easy...H.O.T. Magnum canister filters...aka the blue foam that Vapor Pro sells as a mod I found it at a local pet supply store...cut the foam to the size of your cart and done...it was only 3 bucks so I figured what do I got ta loose and was dumbfounded to find that it works perfectly wicks great and was stupid easy to do...was just supprised about a moded cart working so well and thought I would mention that I fixed the issue with my stupid atty's with the low bridge

What did you do to get the atties to work. I have a lot of cartridges(some even have blue foam) that you can have and refill to your hearts content. PM me.
