Starting now, new users who sign up will be checked for fle...er, that is LINKS to bogus sites merely to promote their business on the web!
If you have a LEGITIMATE business, and want to become a member primarily to discuss e cigs, No Prob. If you are merely joining to spam our forum, you will be hunted down and ki....er, face IMMEDIATE BANNING and possible complete deletion. Also, if your IP address appears continuously with a different user name and a backlink to some bulls...er, BOGUS weblink, your entire range of IP addresses will be banned!
If you ARE legit, and want to link your web business in your posts or become a recognized vendor and have an e-cig related endeavour, please contact me or Berger (mods, IOW) and let us KNOW you are here as a vendor. We have a number of vendors on this forum who are valued members of our family, so let us know!
All legitimate users: welcome to the forum. We are here to discuss e-cigs, juice, mods, and basically everything, and if you're a little ...er, off kilter, you have found a home!

We have had about 60 people sign up last month alone just to use this forum to backlink their website. Enough is enough. Obviously, the people already here stay here, but I'm going to do a cursory search on new members each day, and the ones with Viagra links are GONE! I don't need it anyway...

| Yea..seems to be the new technique..signing up to drop link in places that aren't parts of posts...I noticed and drilled a couple but as they dont post I didnt really go looking for them..Ill get with Vapeatron about removing these disk space squatters.

Unless they changed the strength limit for advertising this seems like a flagrant test of the mods. I'm not commenting over there since I got an infraction last time I reported a post to a mod (implied the poster was smarter than the mod monitoring the thread).
Maybe you have to pay more to break the rules.
How much to break the rules over here?

| OK, obviously this is escaping some of our newer "members". About half a dozen since New Year's.
Berger, if someone DOES contact you with a message saying, they are a vendor or would like to drop a link in their sig, start a new thread in our area where we can let each other know so-and-so let you know they were dropping a sig.
Their tenacity is something to be admired, at any rate...

| I cant believe the crap they do over there...its out of control..I can see they must be inundated with spams and have to protect all their paying suppliers but they opened up that can of worms them selves....

| As long as forums have been around, there have been those Mods that thought they were told they were God. They get some kind of power trip out of doing that stuff. Of course I am not saying it happens to all or even most but, some do fall prey to that power trip. You can just feel it in their tone. Ever vigil, waiting to strike while going over the rule books continusly, looking for that reason to strike the death blow of a permant ban on a major poster.

A lot of forums, if you ask a question you get a "Why don't you try the SEARCH FUNCTION?!?!" but they don't often work that well; you either get too much or too little information.
